MrsMJD I'm a 28yr old wannabe first time mum. My DH and I have been married for a year and have been together almost 8yrs. I work as a practice nurse in a small suburb in auckland. I grew up in Gisborne as the oldest of 3 girls, my parents celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary this year and I have a large close extended family. My DH is the oldest with one younger sister, sadly we lost his Dad in 2007 but I think his Mum is secretly desperate for grandkids.

We had an appointment with Fertility Associates on Monday. We decided to go privatly to start with. I went hoping for an answer as to why, after 15mths of trying, we were still without fetus. What I got were some positive negatives, and the need for more tests.

So AF arrived on cycle day 37 of all the stupid days to show up. I mean seriously 9 days "late". I was so disapointed.... This question is intruding into every aspect of my life at the moment. And it's a question I can't yet answer though I have tried lol. Monday I caved and and did a pregnancy test, not only was it too easly in my cycle (day 22) but I also tested mid afternoon and had been drinking plenty of water ...
