I am almost frightened to blog incase I jinx us. How on earth did we end up with such a great baby? She's 15 weeks and 2 days today, and just the most gorgeous creature on the earth. At the risk of sounding ridiculously soppy, every day I love her more.

We're starting to see so much personality now, and while it might be our imagination, we're sure she's already pretty cheeky. She seems to have a great sense of humour, and is really fun and easy going.

Oh and talk about sleep - that was the thing I was dreading most about being a mum. And in the first couple of weeks I was lamenting not having babies when I was in my teens (which is when I'm sure nature intended us to procreate). The lack of sleep was criminal. But since she hit 8 weeks I haven't had a middle-of-the-night wake up call at all. In fact, we have to wake her most mornings, or she'd sleep 12+ hours I'm sure.

I'm returning to work in a couple of months, so we're starting to get her used to being with dad (he'll be at home on Thursday and Friday when I'm at work - I'll be home the rest of the time). He's so great with her, I'm sure it will be fine, but just in case we're getting her used to taking a bottle when she wakes from her second sleep.

I can't believe the time has gone so fast. She'll be eating solids soon, and before we know it she'll be borrowing the car, going to parties and we'll be back to staying awake all night again!!
