The road to motherhood has a few twists and turns

Today was the day I had my first appointment with my fertility doctor, Dr C. I was so excited, even though I knew that nothing was going to happen in the appointment it was still the start of my road to motherhood.
Things don't always turn out like you expect it though do they?...Dr C advised me that my FSH levels were high, 11.9 and AMH levels low, I think 9.1. Good news is that I can still go ahead with the IVF so it could be much worse.
I'm on the waiting list for public funded treatment so I won't be starting my cycle until February next year. I'm 31 which she advised me is young to have these levels but that I would be ok to wait but that my chances of producing lots of mature eggs may be lower.
I am actually more upset by this than I was when I was told I had to have my tubes removed. I always suspected I may have a problem with conceiving my it turns out these hormonal changes indicate early menopause. Aaargh!
Sometimes I really should stay off the internet and not read things that I do not understand. I should really speak to the doctor. Anyone else have experience of this?
I should try and sleep now. Back to the wonderful world tomorrow.
Goodnight x
