DISCOVER A SECRET WORlD WITHIN OUR OWN
Beneath the floorboards of a sprawling mansion with an overgrown garden in the suburbs of Tokyo, tiny 14-year-old Arrietty lives with her equally tiny parents. The family live by borrowing objects from the mansion. Their peaceful life dramatically changes when ever-curious Arrietty is accidentally seen by Sho, a lonely 12-year-old human boy. The two begin to confide in each other and before long, a friendship blossoms...

It took me sooooo long to put this dvd on since yes I did judge it by the cover and it looked like it was going to be a hard one to sit through. However it is a nice movie and my nieces enjoyed, my daughter didn't last the whole movie but she does ask for it to be played so that must be a good thing : )

Awesome movie, nice little story line. My 11 year old son watched it a few times because he said it was "really cool" so definitely good feedback here :) I have to agree that it isn't the most exciting looking cover but in this case it doesn't matter because it proved me wrong.

At first my 6 year old wasn't interested in watching it because the cover of the dvd looked boring. It doesn't have an eye catching cover like a 'Disney' dvd would. However after watching it, she really enjoyed it. Was very well animated with lots of detail with a nice sweet storyline with no magic and vampires which is a nice change from some of the dvd's produced lately. Tells you that you can't judge a dvd by it's cover!
