A comedy about life, love and lasagna
Rocco has it all: a great job, a hot car and a woman who will do anything for him and loves him unconditionally - his mum. But when he meets the gorgeous Katie, Rocco realises that he needs to make some changes. Enlisting the help of his zany neighbour Mrs Cotoletta, Rocco attempts to counteract his image as a mamma's boy, and to find the key to Katie's heart.

My partner and I watched this movie together. I found it was ok for a couple of laughs - my partner enjoyed it more than I did though! He was chuckling quite a lot - obviously he found some of the scenes rather hilarious!. I did find myself drifting away from the movie but overall it was an average Australian movie. I would rate it 6/10.

This is an interesting movie. Comedy is probably not that true a description of this one. It contains some magical moments but they are few and far between. This movie may have been “funny” in the eighties but in twenty twelve it is a bit flat. The movie also seems to lack cohesiveness. It is okay if you want something on in the background, but is not a movie I can really recommend. Thanks OHBaby! for letting me review Big Mamma’s Boy, but it doesn’t rate more than 4 out of 10 stars for me.

My husband watched this with me on the weekend. We thought it was quiet entertaining, having lived in Melbourne for quiet some time we got used to Aussies/Italian/Greek sense of humour, so it was easier to understand their jokes. Overall maybe it was more for a Australian audience, but it was a good light-hearted comedy I'd give it a 6/10.

Watched this yesterday afternoon, and to be honest it was a struggle to get through. It was suppose to be a comedy but there were not many laughs. It was very slow and quite cringy in places. It is not a movies that I would personally recommend to my friends.
