Zooey and Alec Morrison are a married couple who are struggling to bridge the gap that is developing between them. Unable to conceive, the Morrisons await for confirmation of child to foster. One day a seven year old boy who calls himself "Eli" appears on their doorstep quite mysteriously, explaining the foster agency has sent him

Eli is old beyond his years and provides the couple with moral support and advice on how to save their relationship. Adored by his foster mother and admired by his foster father, Eli helps Zooey and Alec learn to have fun again and start to rekindle their relationship.

A lovely movie with a nice storyline. Main character, wee Eli is very cute and has your attention right from the moment he appears! Definitely watch with a box of tissues though (although that may have more to do with watching it at 8 months pregnant!). An 8/10 for me!

I found this movie ok but I think it was a little slow for my liking. I did like how they tied it all up at the end though.

What A gorgeous movie, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and watched it with my partner who also enjoyed it. A heart wrenching storyline, but so absolutely beautiful at the same time. Eli is just adorable, I agree with Laker09, it was somewhat predictable, but it was an easy watch and I will watch it again and pass it around family/friends.

I thought this movie was enjoyable. All the characters are likable and the little boy who plays Eli is very cute and funny. It probably more a movie for mothers & grandmothers, as my husband watched it with me and said "it was alright" so not his cup of tea really. overall I'd give it a 6/10 and will be passing it onto other family members to watch :)

I really enjoyed watching this gorgeous movie. It is very sweet with a whimsical feel to it and you can't help but fall in love with the little boy who plays the foster son. He is too cute for words. It has humour and drama and a little bit of sadness also. I think anyone would enjoy watching this film - I watched it with my mum and she also thought it was lovely. Although it is a tad predictable I would definitely recommend it. A very easy watch.
