The Future

(2012)
  90 min    Drama |

What would you do if the future was now?

Sophie and Jason are strange the way all couples are strange. They live in a small apartment, have jobs they hate, and in a month they'll adopt a stray cat, Paw Paw. Like a newborn baby, he'll need around-the-clock care - he may die in six months, or it may take five years. Despite their good intentions, Sophie and Jason are terrified of their looming loss of freedom. So with just one month left, they endeavour to start living.

I agree with the other reviewers - was pretty hard to get into and I found myself chatting to my husband through most of it! Its really slow and I didn't get into the storyline at all I'm afraid!!

Not my sort of movie at all, I found it very hard to get into and found myself doing chores while watching it. I would not recommend and if you think it maybe one you want to watch, I wouldn't watch it with your hubby. I definitely do not think hubby will like it.

My imagination wouldn't go there with this movie. I found it rather silly and had trouble to even watch it all. It is not one that I could recommend

Well ... to be honest, not one of the movies I'd like to see again. Cute in some way but also very pessimistic, and I just simply couldn't get "into" it at all. Too long for me, too (my partner who was watching with me at the start, left after 15 minutes). You end up thinking too much about life and everyday day to day tasks. As I said before, not my kind of genre unfortunatelly.

This movie is very slow. I am usually one to sit through any movie, but about 40 minutes into this I decided I couldnt!! I had it going in the backround while I was doing something else and still managed to keep up with what was going on. I wouldnt really recommend it to be honest.
