The Trip

Two friends, one week, six restaurants and the journey of a lifetime

When Steve is commissioned to write half a dozen restaurants reviews, he decides to plan a trip around England with his food-loving girlfriend. But when she leaves him, Steve is faced with a week of meals for one. Reluctantly, he calls Rob, the only person left he can think of who will be available
on short notice.
6 meals. 6 restaurants. 2 middle-aged men. Too many celebrity impressions. Will Rob and Steve survive?

Sadly my husband and I found this movie very boring. We did not finish watching it even after 3 trys. It is very long and drawn out with a VERY basic storyline. The scenery was amazing but that did not make it watchable.

The Trip - I found this movie a bit lacking overall, there were some one-liners that did have me laughing out loud, but not enough to call it a comedy and the background music and plot were a bit melancholy. I usually prefer british humour but think this one missed the boat. I did enjoy some of the beautiful scenery along the way and the food looked amazing.

The Trip - A true British Comedy, I found this movie to be quite long and drawn out and just a tad boring, however the food in the restaurants visited looked amazing and made me oh so hungry, there were a few humourous lines along the way that intrigued me enough to keep watching to see if it got any better, sadly I was disappointed.

The Trip is a comedy about two guys going to fancy restaurants in the English countryside, sounds a bit boring but I have to say I found it quite humourous... I enjoyed the British Humour, I dont think it is a comedy for everyone and the plot is not amazing but if you enjoy British Comedy, you will probably want to watch this one :)
