OHbaby!: What did you want to be when you grew up?
Kate: From memory I wanted to be a photographer but according to my dad, my dream as a three-year-old was to own a fish and chip caravan on a beach!

OHbaby!: Do you ever feel "mummy guilt" about working instead of being with your children?
Kate: I feel guilty all the time, wondering if I am spreading myself too thinly. I do the best I can and try to make sure there are days when I am just a mum, without the telephone or computer. Activities outside of the house are a must but I have a happy little boy and it helps me not to feel guilty.

OHbaby!: How do you get "me-time"?
Kate: I still haven't figured this out. Does a coffee in my dressing gown at the computer count?

OHbaby!: What is the smartest thing you have done with your business?
Kate: Making the investment to get the website right. As our main point of contact with customers, it was really important it was clutter-free and easy to use. I made sure I had a web development company I trusted, who could see my vision.

OHbaby!: What's the biggest mistake you've made, and how was it resolved?
Kate: Mistakes are easy to make when you start a business and I take it very personally. My ever-calm husband tells me they are not mistakes but a chance to learn. I have found my "mistakes" have always led to positive decisions.

OHbaby!: What do you most enjoy about your business?
Kate: I love watching it grow. I have some fantastic customers and the support in this first year has been amazing. That makes me smile and keep going.

OHbaby!: What is the best advice you were ever given as a mother?
Kate: Take the time to enjoy and get to know your children.

OHbaby!: What is the best advice you were ever given as a businesswoman?
Kate: Be passionate and believe in what you are doing.

OHbaby!: What are your best tips for getting out of the house on time?
Kate: I have none of these as I am always running late! Just ask my husband who is constantly waiting for me to pick him up from the airport.
