Happy Birthday Daniel!!!!!!

DP has been home the last couple of days because his feet got so sunburnt at the racing on the weekend he couldnt get his work boots on. so my internet time has been limited because he either spends ages on TM or decides he is going to weed the garden and that i have to come help him immediately. He back at work today and i hope they laughed at him hehe.

Ive actually got really slack with everything when it comes to josh because i havent had the energy or patience so we are pretty much back to square one with everything. Hopefully next week i will be a bit better and ill work on getting sleeping and encouraging the toilet and his behaviour back on track. Should look at a new bed for him as well.

Josh tells us he has done stinky poos a lot but normally its nothing or because he has a sore bum. He has been telling us his bum is owwie alot recently probably just all the fruit he has been eating.

My grandparents are here and have just come in for a cuppa after cutting some dead heads off my roses so will try catch up later.

Happy birthday Daniel!!

We're just heading out to the beach (have had DH at home yesterday and today which is LOVELY, hence the absence lol).

I think I lost my mucus plug this morning. I've had real bad lower pelvic/groin pain since yesterday morning (when I had to run after my 2 year old as he ran onto the road, talk about giving me a heart attack) and this morning (TMI) there was a big snot like substance when I wiped. There was no blood but it was very very snot like and about 5cm by 2cm. I rang the mw, she was with a lady in labour so couldn't talk much - said it's not too much cause for concern (as compared to if my waters broke) but she'll give me a call back later and will see me for a checkup. I have a mw appointment tomorrow anyway. I'm wondering if when I had to run, my pelvis separated more (so painful, could barely walk) cos of all the relaxin preggie hormones, and maybe baby moved down further or something and as a result I lost a bit of the plug. Trying not to worry!

Geesh Liz a double whammy scare! Take it easy -if you can. Daniels is so quick on his feet, being preg and having to chase him would be difficult.
My vege garden is being attacked by grasshoppers!!!! They have demolished my big tomatoes and the capsicum I have to other toddler bugs that love cherry tomatoes so all we seem to be getting is zucchini and silverbeet.
Our bithday morning has been great, for a change Daniel woke before Ashlee so he got cuddles with Mummy and Daddy then we got Ashlee and gave him his presents matchbox cars and a Tonka truck he loves the matchbox cars and when DH gets home from work he gets his big present a bike. We are about to head out for a walk then to the park then off to have lunch with daddy :) BEAUTIFUL 27 here today!!!!!

Wow Liz what a worry. I hope you hear from your MW soon. If it isn't bloody does that mean you haven't lost all of it?
Geez the kids are so quick now!

Verena love how 27 is nice to you. I'm sure that despite the wind it's about 24 here and it's

Liz, TMI coming but when I lost mine 4 days before Livvy was born it was quite a lot more than that, so maybe just a part of it came away. Someone said on here in another thread that they can 'grow' back too so don't be too worried. A checkup wouldn't hurt though especially if you are in some pain too.

Verena, what a good start to the day. i bet he's going to love thebike!

None of us here have had blankets or even sheets on lately at night. We went down to the park before just so we could cool down in the wind. Then don't ask me what I was thinking but Livvy and I are baking cookies. I'm craving them like mad!

Happy birthday Daniel!

Liz - scary on both counts! As for the mucus plug, yep its huge (and really gross). When I had Ava, I thought I had lost it, then went to the toilet later and this massive thing came out. I was so disgusted lol. Hopefully it's not a major concern, but best to get checked.

Josh wants to say thanks to his secret baby pressie sender!! Im not sure if i was spose to let him open it yet but since i was trying to send out mine today and he was too busy trying to open the toy i wanted to post it worked as a good distraction

Today has turned out to be quite busy got my sis to dye my hair cos the greys were showin and i want to look good for a wedding im headed to this weekend. I put a frozen chicken on when i left at 3 but i think i miscalculated cos its still running red grrr not sure what to do might have to zap it in the microwave if it gets too late.

Scary Liz! Josh runs to the street every now and then but fortunately if the gate is open he is being closely watch. Fingers crossed that the mucus plug isnt too scary a thing to happen. I never lost mine until i was in the bath at the hospital i think a little came when my waters broke but when i got out of the bath at the hospital the MW commented that id had a good show so i looked and was disgusted by the fact i had been in there with those streaky floatys (sorry hope everyones eaten already )

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Liz, that must have been a bit scary! I hope that you aren't in too much pain, I had terrible pelvic pain with Ollie and it sucked. You most probably loosened some of the mucus when you had to run, but I wouldn't be too worried about it if it was just a small amount, if it didn't have blood in it. Get your MW to check you over. The mucus constantly regenerates, so hopefully shouldn't come to anything.

With Chloe I had my started loosing my plug a few weeks before I went into labour. I had my proper show about 4-5 days before. With Ollie it was a day or so before.

I'm so envious of the hot weather... it's been raining and cold here as usual! Both heat pumps going again. *pout*

Had a friend come over and help out this morning, I basically laid on the couch and semi entertained the kids while she cleaned the kitchen and also entertained the kids Thank goodness, I wasn't sure how I would get through today, both babies is so hard atm. I had a nap while the kids did after lunch, then we went to my sisters for the afternoon and I fell asleep on her couch. Gosh, I feel so lazy, but I just can't function any better.

Have my chest x-ray and spinal x-ray tomorrow, then if that doesn't reveal anything the Dr is referring me to a hospital specialist.

Oh... we buy quite a bit of fruit, because Chloe and Ollie eat heaps of fruit - apples, bananas and oranges, mostly. And sometimes other stuff if on special. They eat canned fruit as well. We grew strawberries this year and there is always 2-6 strawberries every day ready to be picked I love them! Unfortunately Chloe usually beats me to the "strories".

We grow most of our own vegies. Only need to buy potatoes, really. We have carrots, beetroot, parsnips, leeks, cauli, broccoli, cabbage, red onions, peas, silverbeet, and celery. Our courgettes and tomatoes haven't done well this year, probably due to a lack of summer down here!

We try and stay under $100 per week but it's so hard with the amount that DH eats, and having to buy formula and nappies and stuff. I love our vege garden.

All the best for the x-rays tomorrow LB. At the least, you'll get a little lie down while they're being done. I kind of hope that you get some answers just so you know what's going on but I also kind of don't want you to because it'd probably mean something more serious IYKWIM. I just hope they can work it out and get you back healthy again soon.

I'm so jealous of the vege gardens. It must be so nice just being able to pop out and grab something instead of having to plan your veges in the meal as well.

Aww TA I was eating *while* I read about your floaties!

Good morning
Janey, I already sent you a text, but best of luck today

Char, I can't believe it's been 6 months already, too!!
I hope the boys settle down. I always remember getting bored and agitated towards the end of the school holidays. Not long to go now

Happy belated birthday, Daniel!
Almost Ashlee's 1st!

TA, lol at DP's sunburnt feet!

Liz, how are you today? How scary for you! I'd say the running after Harry (!!!) just made things a little loose in there. Hopefully things have settled down?

Playgroup starts back up here today, I'm excited (how sad is that?). It's really wet here though, we're under a heavy rain warning, so we'll all be jammed inside, but I've been telling Hannah all week that she's going to PG today, so I'd better follow through!

I had my scan yesterday. All went really well.
Happy little baby, kicking away. You've probably seen the pics on FB, but I'll put my two favs here

Like my scan with Hannah it's put my dates 5 days ahead of where my LMP puts me, but I'll stick with my LMP now (which is only a day behind my ticker - must change that now).
I blame the size of the kid's heads! Both had heads measuring 8 days ahead
Looks like I'm having another bobble-head

Morning!

Happy birthday for yesterday Daniel, hope he had a great day and enjoyed the bike.

Good luck for the scans Jane. I really hope they can get to the bottom of this soon so you can get back to good health. Big hugs.

Liz, what a fright . Hope you had an OK night and that the MW goes OK today. Having a runner sucks, big time. Both of mine have had that stage

MP - beautiful baby . Did your Mum love going to the scan?

Char, I hear you on being ready for the usual activities to re-start . Amy has creche on Wednesday and I am very excited about it!!

TA - Hope your DPs feet are better, ouchie!!

Well we are OK. Our mid-summer winter stopped for two days of hot sun (yay) but today is warm and drizzling. It was so hot here last night and as we have not had much good weather it is a shock. Our temperature has gone from 12degrees to 22 degrees!! Poor Sophie had a bad night as she was hot and getting away from her blanket but then getting upset when she couldn't find her blanket .

Amy is a bit up and down with the TT just like the last 3 times but we are just going to have to ride it out. We are NOT going back to nappies.

one the other hand Sophie is doing great. The only accident yesterday was my fault as I didn't get her shorts down fast enough. She told me everytime she needed to go . Hopefully it goes OK when she starts back to creche in a few weeks.

Have a good day everyone

Oh Charly bubs is just lovely! Those are awesome scan pics.

Janey you are the most un-lazy person I know!! You REALLY need to take it easy, rest and not feel bad about it You're on my prayer list.

Feeling sooo much better today thanks guys The lower pelvic/groin pain has practically disappeared (yay!) and no more show stuff. I think it was just part of it and yeah that got loosened when I ran. Got mw appointment this morn, first one this time that DH can come to (yay) and at the mo he's making us pancakes

JC I don't think I said, man how scary and annoying with Sophie's arm! Poor wee thing. How's she coping with it? It sounds like the toilet training is going really well!!! Well done you

yay for your DH being home (and making pancakes ). Was Harry super excited when his Dad got home? Glad to hear you are feeling better this morning.

Sophie is doing OK. She is fairly grumpy when she doesn't get her own way, but I think that is normal and not related to the arm!! She had a major tanty this morning and tried to bit her cast .

I must say that I am dreading this weekend - the family holiday at the beach. There is nothing worse for a cast than the beach the nurse told me when she was plastering the arm . Cast + sand = bad.

Also we will be sharing a room with Amy and my IL have said that Sophie can go in with them as the beach house has a cot in the main bedroom. I imagine that after one night that Sophie will be in with us in the portacot!

awwww Charly that made me all emotional, what beautiful scan pics! lol at bobble heads, mine have all had great hulking heads too lol! Have fun at playgroup!!

lol at Soph trying to bite her cast Julia, funny girl! Drew is pretty cruisy the majority of the time but when he does try and assert himself it is quite funny, he can be a real strop!  So laid back and different from the other 2 though, Z was a really tanty packer, he used to do the banging his head on the ground which was horrid!  Hope the beach isnt too bad and you can keep the sand out of the cast!

Yay Liz glad you are feeling better!  And yay that DH can go to MW and yay for pancakes!!

It is raining again so will be an inside day today here too.  Grandma is coming over after lunch and taking Z and L for a bit so it will be Drew and I hanging out
