Well DP went back to work at 12, not much he can do as they won't know until Thursday if anything is broken and even if there is unless he needs a plate there is nothing they can do.
So sitting here twiddling my thumbs and trying to work out what the heck is going on with my body...Have got Diarrhea and have very lower pains and getting irregular contractions...Ahh well will have to see what happens.

Ohhhh Miss 4 just gave me the giggles...The little baby pack that I brought, she keeps bringing it to me and asking if she can smell the stuff...I think she is addicted to Johnsons Baby powder lmao

Motherof6 - Hope bubs isnt going to be born too early, fingers crossed he stays in there a little longer.
I am a little fustrated with Ohbaby at the moment. I ordered the back issue (issue 1 08) and they sent me the current issue which I already have. Ok thats alright I dont mind, but I have now emailed them twice and have heard nothing back. Not very happy. I want the first issue not the current one lol I already have it. I hope they email back soon.

Hi all! So sorry, yonks since I've been on..so apologies for the lack of personals. I have been lurking in and out so am pretty up to date with all your dramas and joys of pregnancy.. what a exciting journey.
Dagster - I love the dresses too! Must head to the nearest Just Jeans to buy one myself!
Aimstar - thanks for sharing your GD story.. I've been reassured by your experiences as I had a first glucose test of 6.6 about 5 weeks ago so midwife wanted me to have another test which I did last Friday.. turned out it is still high at 6.9. So now I have to do the fasting 2 hour test! She did reassure me that due to my age (35), my body may be just slow to process the sugar and the 2 hour test will hopefully be normal. Even If it is not, I'll be okay like Aimstar!
The other bit of news from the midwife was a bit of worry... my measurements were on the small side.. 26 cm compared to 28cm at last visit.. so sent me off for an urgent growth scan. Turned out the baby head circumference and femur lenght are normal but the abdomen circu is small (under 5th percentile) so need to go back in a couple of week to track growth...
Fingers crossed baby is okay and I just need to eat more! Not easy when you are told to cut down on carbs due to risk of GD!

Evening
M of 6 - I hope DPs face is not too painful as it really sounds awful and also hope your bubba stays put for a little while longer yet.
Deafbutterfly - fingers crossed for your next scan and also for you GTT test.
Well I went to Akl Hosp for appt today, luckily DH could come with me as we were there for 2.5 hours and there was so much info to take in, plus we had a scan. From now till next Wed I have to do the finger prick blood test 4 times a day, and really watch what i am eating, I am pretty much doing all the right things but need to make some minor changes. The scan was to check bubs growth and all measurements were normal right on average for dates so that was great. Next Wed I see the 3 different specialists and could be there most of the day, plus they will make the call as to wether I go on Insulin. I will not be going to Birth Care as they want me to stay there, but thats okay with me as I should have my own room plus dont have to pay for meals and can stay as long as I want. Just had to test my blood now and it was 9.2 had a little cry cause it is meant to be 6.5 or less and I ate such a healthy dinner. Heres hoping it gets better.
Have a good night everyone.

Hi girls,
OB appointment was fine- measuring to dates, blood pressure fine etc. So nothing to report really :)
Off to the beach this weekend and taking next Tuesday off, so looking forward to an extended break.
Aimstar- Glad to hear your appointment went well and you have a plan!
Roksana- I hope everything is ok and your BP is nice and low. I love your 'GTH' moment!
DB- Fingers crossed the wee bubba is just saving up the big growth spurt for the last 9 weeks! I hope your scan goes well.
Motherof6- How are things progressing? Hopefully those contractions have stopped and your little one stays put for a bit longer!
Oh well, back to work- I am so over it but have a while to go yet!

Hi Ladies!
Haven't been in for a while, life has been a little full on. My Dh aunt has been really unwell with cancer and fighting it all this year but got really bad 10 days ago, couldn't talk or eat, then went into a coma last mon and passed on tues. We had the funeral on fri so hasn't been a very nice time!
Had an engagement party on sat nigth, I was so pleased with myself, managed to last till 11.30 after being at work for all day.
Sounds like everyone is getting ready for or had their baby showers, how exciting! I'm having mine on 16th nov.
Hope everyone is feeling well, even tho we are at the stage where it's getting a bit uncomfy!
Off to the MW this morn, I am a bit concerned cos I haven't gained any weight in about the last 8 or 9 weeks, even tho my belly is getting a bit bigger. I'm sick of everyone saying oh you're so little still! It makes me worry!
Catch you all later

He's gearing up, still getting irregular contractions..But then this could go on for the next 2 wks before he decides to pop out, so not overly worried. Just wish he would stop jabbing me with his finger, it's not cutie cutie.

Morning all,
I had a massive breakdown last night over the house situation, I cryed for ages and DH forced me to eat which I didnt want to and tryed to calm me down. Having my nested room uplifted and really not sure where moving to has just upset me even more. I want to nest but I cant and I feel homeless (although I am not). Hopefully tonight we will all come up with a solution and get everything sorted then I can nest.
I have basically thrown my studying for my exam out the window.
Motherof6 - Lets hope he stays in there 3 weeks. Must be very irritating.
Trying to be happy but not working
