Happy Birthday to your little one too Nannikin, Louie had a great day was crashed by 6pm :P
My AF was the mildest one i have EVER had, if i didnt know it was impossible i would have wondered if it was an implantaion belled, literally the lighted period i have ever had, i am charting so added it in, I am curious to see how regular they are as after Louie they were all over the show, Night weaning happened no drama so i think, i HOPE they will be easier to chart then after him, going to start testing for LH surge from the 4th i think, sounds early but i dont want to miss it.

Mummyinc, I just noticed your ticker is pretty much at the same time as mine! Last time I spoke to my doctor, she suggested taking supplements for 3 months before, and since that is not far away I wondered what I should be getting DH to take too, considering the delay in sperm production? What do you ladies do? I've heard of menevit and vitamenz, but wondered if there is more cost effective options with the same result?

MrsK if you head to a website like lilypie you can make one up, use the "pseudo html/bbcode" version and copy/paste the code it gives you into the signature part of your profile (under member control panel). Hopefully that makes sense :D took a bit for me to figure it out when I first tried!
I'm pretty sure I ovulated over the weekend, so I'm happy about that :) ordered some OPKs too, just for the fun of it.
2furkids all I'm taking is folic acid, and DH is taking nothing. We eat pretty healthily so I figure that's enough for us. I have no idea on supplements sorry!
That's great that night weaning went so well Mummyinc! Hopefully your cycle settles down, are you feeding often during the day?

How is everyone doing? I think af may be going to show up in 2 weeks as I had a few days of what felt just like ovulation pain. I haven't had it since before I got pregnant ds3 (who is turning 1 next week!!)

I have been charting just for intrests sake, and currently at CD12 with no sign of Ovulation so dunno whats going on, my youngest has a spew bug and has been breastfeeding lots becuase of this so maybe that has delayed it. I had some odd very llong cycles after my first pregnancy too so maybe that :)

Hi Melimum! Yay for ovulation :D
Fingers crossed AF sorts her proverbial out for you soon MrsK - I had so much spotting/bleeding when I had the implant, it used to drive me batty!
Mummyinc I hope your little one is feeling better soon. I think it's so fascinating how much breastfeeding can affect ovulation/AF.
I'm just waiting to see if I was correct in thinking I've ovulated - AF should be due around the 18th/19th. Getting a little nervous about heading away at the start of next month, it'll be the longest that B will have been away from us - 5 nights!!! She's staying with my parents who absolutely dote on her, and she loves them to bits - so I know she will be fine but y'know, doesn't stop the mummy worry :S

We're still a few months of starting to try, am wondering if I should track ovulation for a couple of months though just to see if there's a regular pattern back yet or not

Arg im at CD14 and STILL not a sign of Ovulation, all these Negative LH surge testers are filling up my rubbish bin driving me made lol. Not that i was wanting to get pregnant this cycle but frustrating if i am having looong cycles. Scarlett seems to be on the mend, her fever peaked this morning about 10am and broke soon after she had a 2hour midday nap then woke up starving and ate until crashing at bedtime for her Daddy at 6pm. Sigh both kiddies asleep at 6pm means il be up at 5.30am with the eldest :P I still hadnt needed to go back to nursing her over night, just was more during the day so hoped it wouldnt effect things too badly, im going to hope i OV before end of next week....

Thanks everyone, well how about that, af arrived for Mothers Day. It is kind of neat that I was able to tell it was coming after not having one for 21 months. I guess I will be graduating from here to ttc (though it will actually be not trying, not preventing for now). Also a big week here, my baby turns 1 on Tuesday, the times gone quickly but I love watching him grow up.
I hope your cycle sorts itself mummyinc, our bodies seem to act differently after each baby.
I hope your holiday goes well nannikin, enjoy it :)

TinkaElle I've started tracking my cycle this month, I downloaded an app which makes it so easy :D
Fingers crossed you're not waiting too much longer for OV Mummyinc - how frustrating!
Melimum what a lovely Mothers Day present :P good luck for TTC! Looking forward to joining you there, although hopefully you get your BFP before then :)
I'm halfway through my "TWW" - technically I guess it's not a TWW as we're not TTC yet but it still feels sooo long....

Yay mummyinc!! How is your wee one feeling? I use p tracker. Just the basic free version. I quite like it, does anyone else have any suggestions? I've had a bit of an up and down day today, stopped taking my pill (which im super happy about) but also starting to feel a bit sad that my mum is moving to Miami next week. Nannikin, i hope you enjoy your much deserved break!!

Woohoo for a positive OPK finally Mummyinc! Hope you enjoyed that wine and chocolate :D
The app I use is called Glow, it seems to do the job. My opks arrived today - woop woop! Bring on AF...
That's sad your Mum is moving away MrsK :( thank goodness we have things like Skype these days... Miami is so far away! As for OPKs, I bought cheapie online ones too - I think they are around the same price as the Trademe ones.
One of my best friends told me today that they are thinking of TTC later in the year, which makes me very excited! Most of my friends are done having kids so it would be so lovely to have a friend with a baby arriving around the same time(ish) as me. Cluck cluck cluck...

Hi all,
I came off the pill about 2 and a half months ago and have had 2 normal periods since then and have been fine. In the last week and a half I have had bouts of dizziness, nausea and very sore breasts, tired more often and eating a lot more. I am due for my period in 3 days...a day ago however I got a bleed (assuming it was my period), however it only lasted a day and was quite light for me and the day after (today) I have just had light spotting. I wonder whether this is all just symptoms from coming off the pill? Is it likely I would experience such severe symptoms this long after coming off it? I am aware it can stay in your body for a while or potential pregnancy? I plan on testing in a few days (when my period is actually due) and have a doctors appointment next week also. Thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. So over the symptoms and no knowing! Thanks :)

Some women experience those symptoms in the second half of their cycle as part of their normal, but they are also pregnancy symptoms (you probably know that though!)The light bleeding could be an implantation bleed, which some people get, but it could be your body returning to normal after being on the pill, the easiest way to find out would be to take a test though.
