Oops Soda just realised I didn't put you into CD1 today. Is that right, did AF arrive full steam?
I think I may have!a gradual rise them going by today. The temp was the highest by .07 (other than the temps I took after getting up when I forgot). Planning on a BD tonight but DH is tired.

Wow it is foggy out there this morning! Take care everyone!
I have been a bit slack with the whole healthy eating and exercise in the past two weeks (what with being ill, my DH birthday and just so cold that I crave comfort food). But I am back on the wagon and have started buying fertility friendly food like pumpkin seeds, salmon, kale and nuts again. I never relised how expensive nuts are!
Anyone have any core food that is healthy and fertility friendly? I try and drink a fair bit of milk (blue top by choice anyway, green is disgusting). But because I always have a runny nose, dairy increases mucus in unwanted places as well, so it is a bit of a balancing act!
I hope everyone has a good day today (yay, it is Friday). I have actually had a good week (a certain person was away this week which makes my whole life easier). I wish every week could be this relaxed and stress free...amazing what a nightmare one person can create!

Hey Blue, yep really foggy here in Otahuhu too. I eat just what you said above. I also eat eggs quite a lot. Yesterday's lunch was a little tin of pink salmon, a boiled egg, a pile of baby kale some walnuts and two brazil nuts and some cottage cheese. No white carbs. I cut out bread a week ago amd I'm substituting kumara, yams and carrots for potatoes for dinner. Just trying something new. Don't get hungry much and if I do I've been snacking on gold kiwifruit and mandarins. I reckon this is the healthiest I've ever eaten. Plus no coffee for two weeks now! Could have killed for one yesterday but I held strong.
My temp is up another .1 degrees today so I reckon OV was probably in the night the night before last.

Do any of you ladies use a tracker app? I have been using P tracker on my Samsung, but I bought a new iPhone eysterday and of course I didn't export all of my info from my Samsung before I swapped the SIM over (and its a Nano SIM so I can't just put it back into my old phone). I'll have to manually input the info, so I'm wondering if there's a better app out there? I don't chart temps or anything, so just a freebie app :)
Apfel - we only BD'ed once this month. I'm sure hubby is wondering why I put the brakes on all of a sudden rather than pestering him for a week on end, but I got a new job and start in September, so while I really want to get pregnant, I also don't really want to be pregnant when I start, as I'd feel so guilty! I'm torn...

wimble I use Fertility Friend - works on android and iPhone, and syncs to a web account so you never lose the data. It's a free app too - just gives you more info and analysis if you take out the VIP membership (which I think someone said was on special for $25 at the mo...but if you're not a charter probably no need for it :)
Congrats on the job! I sat tight on my current job thinking I'd be pregnant by now - and kind of wish I'd changed by now, that said I work from home and only 4 days a week....so shouldn't be a grizzle about it

I'm using P Tracker Delux and I also just copied all my data across and started using Fertility Friend. I like P Tracker for the calendar view and seeing when AF is due, but I like the graph and the way it separates out the cycles on FF. I'm also plotting my info in an excel sheet because I find that the best way to compare my cycle against the previous months. I'll paste a pic: See - this gives the best immediate view of changes in cycles. See how two of my cycles were really short. Hoping not to have a repeat of that! And crossing my fingers for none of that awful spotting this time either. About the job. I too applied for a part time job, so that I can have some time off from my own business and meet some people and perhaps it will get me more interested in my own biz again. I don't care if pregnancy and the job fall on top of one another. The main goal is happiness, so I think that being pregnant is on the track to a happy lil family.

Haha you crack me up Apfel! :) I'm guessing black stars are AF, white stars are spotting, hearts are BD and the flower is OV?
This job is luckily within another area of the place I work for so luckily my service remains uninterrupted and therefore I'm still entitled to parental leave payments and keeping my (new) job open for me, even if I get pregnant within a year of starting which is great. I had an interview for another role back in December and I too was thinking/hoping that I'd be pregnant by now and felt terrible at the prospect of it, but this time I decided that I had to give it my best shot in case I ended up not getting pregnant in the near future/ever! I need short term sanity, plus its a bit more money coming in which always helps :)
I think I'd be useless working from home miss_bling, too many distractions ;)

I'm a bit OCD and take after my dad, who plots everything into excel - I'm serious! lol But yep, you got it. Easy to understand isn't it!
Working from home is one big train wreck right now. LOOK I'm on here AGAIN!

So we have chicken pox going around at work. I had it when I was a child and for the last ten years I have been around children who have had it and never contracted it again, however I was told that when you are TTC it is a huge risk, as it takes four weeks to incubate and I could be in the most vulnerable part of pregnancy by the time I am showing symptoms. But like I said, I have already had it and haven't contracted it again whilst working with children. Do you think it is worth getting it checked out? I am not worried and I keep saying that I don't think I should be concerned, but others are telling me they think I should go to the doctor's just in case.
Also, I read that dental health can actually prevent pregnancy. I haven't been to the dentist in years (I know). And I have sensitive teeth so it is hard to know really the state of my teeth. I brush twice a day, etc, but I am not a flosser. I tried for a few years but all it did was strip my gum away and make them raw and bleeding. I do floss them occassionally when I have had meat! My gums don't bleed, I don't have bad breath (so my husband says). My teeth are white and straight! But there has only been the one study I can find. And people have been having children for years without dental care. Some people have children and they are missing teeth! So I don't know if I believe it as such! As the report said, it could just be coincidence that it takes two months longer to conceive if you have dental issues. But if I am not pregnant this time I have promised myself I would go to the dentist. I don't fear the pain, or embarrassment. I just fear the cost. Anyone know of a cheapish dentist in the Auckland area (preferably North). Thanks.

Hey Blue, didn't think that you can catch chickenpox twice, and that you are immune after. I have had both chickenpox and shingles, but didn't catch the shingles from anyone, it is just the chickenpox virus that is dormant in your system and can flare up if you get run down. Both DH and I had it within 6 months of each other while we were on our OE - doctor said that it was just a coincidence and that people in there 20s actually get it often which is weird because I'd never heard of that, just thought it was something old people get. Anyways, ask a doctor about it, I'm sure they can clarify if its something to be careful of or what the dealio is. I know that while you are pregnant you can get gum disease, and its important to visit a dentist at least twice during pregnancy - and to tell them yu are pregnant, but never heard of it preventing getting UTD. Perhaps of course it would if yu have an absess, but just a little plaque ain't going to affect it, surely. I've not been in over a year, last time I went I had a clean, and they scraped off some of my front teeth!! I was so upset, I have nice teeth and then I had two holes in my front teeth and they said my teeth were delicate. I got them to fill the dents with white filling for free, but they feel bumpy to my tongue, and I'm NEVER going back to that dentist. They never apologised which I found to be the worst thing. That a dentist on Lunn Ave, Mt Wellington - don't go there! Today Fertility Friend put the cross hairs on my chart and said I'm 3DPO. So I skipped a day.

Hey Blue, I think with chicken pox it can depend how severe you've had it in the past. I had it when I was about 5yo but then got it again somehow when I was about 20 at uni!! They think it was because I had it mildly when I was young. I've heard that dental hygiene can affect fertility but its only come up once or twice on all the google searches I've done on fertility so not sure how much weight there is to it? Like Apfel I've heard you need to be careful when you are pregnant but more for your own health than baby's :)
