1 DPO for me tomorrow please got a full on positive OPK last night and got in a sneaky BD will try for another tonight to up my chances, lotsa good EWCM too which was lacking last month, and here I thought I was out.

Hi, I am new to this forum. I came off the pill 3 months ago and while we haven't been officially trying, we haven't been overly careful either. My first cycle after stopping the pill was 28 days, the next was 31. I am now up to 36 days… still no sign of my period coming. I have sore boobs and am feeling a bit queazy. I took a text yesterday and it was negative… so am planning on taking another one early next week if my period still hasn't turned up! I am not sure if I am just imagining all of the 'symptoms'. I really hope I am pregnant but my cycle might just be super long. What are your thoughts?

I've heard it can take a while before your period regulates from coming off the pill, I'm about 4-5 years off it and mine still aren't regular but that's not normal,
Unless you were BBT charting and have confirmed ovulation then most likely you had a later ovulation than previous cycles which is why your on 36 days with a negative HPT.

welcome Bellaz! hopefully you are pregnant, but at the same time your hormones do go crazy after the pill, and it can take a while for your cycles to regulate. most people recommend coming off the pill a good 6 months before trying, just incase it takes time. so if nothing happens for a few months yet and your cycles are funny, try not to worry, as it can be normal :) doctors wont even look at it until you have been trying at least a year, and sadly it can take up to 2 years for perfectly fertile couples to concieve and thats normal too! BUT hopefully you are preggers, or are very soon- feel free to hang out in here though! i think im still the only one in the TWW at the moment, im 7dpo..so just waiting waiting waiting, story of my life lol. If you arent pregnant this cycle, strongly recommend charting your cycles, itll give you an idea of when you are ovulating, and how things are evening out..and then IF things still arent right in a year, you can take your charts to your doctor to show them you have been monitoring your cycles etc. takes a lot of the guesswork out. have a look at fertilityfriend.com. Thats what most of us are using. theres also a charting thread on here with heaps of really knowledgable ladies. GL! xx

Welcome Bellaz. Good luck! I just came off the pill 3 months ago also. I can totally relate - last month I got all the symptoms possible haha...but several BFNs! This month my 'period' wasn't really a 'period' got me questioning again, particularly as I've always had a very predictable AF. I'm holding off testing this time, will assume I'm not preggo and as much as it is hard, trying to wait patiently to test till next month. It really does get confusing huh, and I'm sure our bodies take awhile to get back to normal after the pill. Hope it's a positive next week for you!

Hi can I please be 1DPO. Pretty sure it happened on Wed... had really bad ov pains lil bit Tues night and all day Wed & Wed night. Had quite a little CM but wasnt quite EW. BD on Wed night so FX for mee. Bellaz I have found once you start really taking note of your cycles, your mind does play tricks. Last cycle my period was 4 days "late" according to my period tracker App. I had quite a bit of CM, was having really vivid dreams, my sense of smell was off and my boobs were a bit sore. Turns out I had miscalculated my cycle as it came exactly 4 weeks (mon) after my Aug cycle finished.. but if that were the case why did my app say it was due the Thurs before?

Hey KP, I have absolutely no idea. I am sure its still anovulatory cycle. My ewcm has finally stopped. But now I have Headaches, sore boobs, tight vjj, tight tummy and nausea. Neg bhcg last week... What's going on?

Fingers - I get like that before AF - never had sore boobs until I was pregnant with DS, and now get them all the time (sometimes for weeks) leading up to AF. Was puking last Fri as well, with spotting on Sat/Sun and AF on Mon (hooray to end my 74 day cycle!). I think with longer stuffed up cycles we have all the hormonal swings can be much worse :(
