Hey KP06 can you update me as cd3 please? Thanks :)
Have any of you tried vitex? I'm thinking my luteal phase is too short and vitex might be the answer. Any thoughts/experience?

38yrs with a 4yr old. Been TTc for almost 2yrs now. Have just tried Letrozole but think I have luteal phase defect. 23ish day cycles.

Well, it's official. Today is 5dpo for me! (could you update me please KP06)

Quite excited but fate is a bit of a prankster. Found out about a great job opportunity yesterday covering my friends maternity leave. Problem is, if I do get pregnant this month it won't work as I'll be due before she wants to come back (her bub will be 3mths) Typical! It will provide a silver lining though if it doesn't work out this month. It's all in fate's hands I guess. I do believe things happen for a reason so we shall wait and see.

Good stuff poppy almost dpo twins! And yeah great way to look at it - either way you win

Kosmo I'm taking vitex for that reason. I think it takes a while to work, as in months, but my lp has been getting longer. Think it really helps for pms symptoms too. I'm not sure when to stop taking it though, read conflicting things. If I'm lucky enough to get bfp will stop then I think. Someone else might have some better info re this??

When are you thinking of testing Tamsin? I'm going with Friday morning. Thank goodness for a really busy week this week.

Yeah Friday for me too, if nothing happens before then. I'll be 'late' then. So good having busy weeks to keep mind off the wait!

Started progesterone this morning. Slightly disconcerting that it specifically says in the packet insert not to use if pregnant. Hehe.

Here's hoping it's a bfp for us both Tamsin.

Do another test coopersmummy. Just to be absolutely sure one way or the other. Are you normally very regular?

Hey, ok so I went to get some Vitex but the pharmacist talked me out of it. She said you can't take it when you're pregnant and wasn't very positive about it. She suggested I talk to a naturpath. Gah, just want to try something! Have contacted Fertility Associates to see if we can get antoher funded appt sooner rather than later as I think I've just figured that my cycles are irregular and my luteal is too short. Do they do that or do we have to pay? Want a pregnant belly already!

38yrs with a 4yr old. Been TTc for almost 2yrs now. Have just tried Letrozole but think I have luteal phase defect. 23ish day cycles.

Coopersmummy, If your cycles are tending to be irregular it will really help to figure out when you ovulate so you don't have to guess when af is due and, therefore, am i pregnant or late. Some ladies in here do charting and can give you heaps of help with that. I just use opk kits. Generally takes me over 2wks of testing before ovulation hits (I'm always optimistic i may have a normal cycle but never do). Whatever works for you but then at least your 2ww is 2 weeks not 3 or 4....

I might look into that thanks, it would be better to know. I think it's after the miscarriage it's all over the place.

That's quite common but it should settle down again with time.

It's hard you don't know what's what. All I want to do is eat sushi and drink wine if I'm not pregnant, now it feels like I'm missing out on both pregnancy and the fun stuff you can't do while pregnant grrrr
