Hi Kosmo! I have no advice on charting sorry! I'm sure the ladies in the other thread will come to the rescue though Yay Sara, exciting to be officially TTC! I hope you guys have a fabulous time at Disney on Ice, how cool. Avidkeo good luck for catching that wee eggy I'm just trucking along here, almost at the halfway point of DH being away so that's nice. I have been pigging out at night, apparently I have no self control when there's no one watching haha I might have to stop, hate to think what the scales will say otherwise! Mummabear and Jessaroo - are you guys around? I have no idea if your CD on the list are anywhere near accurate! Hope you're both all good :)

Haha Nannikin, I would be totally the same if DH wasn't home...no self control here either. I was home with E one day last week and ended up eating WAY too many cookies :-/ Welcome back MissK. Hopefully it's la short stay in here :-) Argh so frustrated. I was talking to DH yesterday about timing of BDing this month. He asked what day I would be OVing, and I said about the 15th. He was like 'oh the weekend I'm away in Auckland?'. Ummmmmm yup that weekend. Damit. He's only away for a day so fingers crossed we can get some action in just before he leaves and once he gets back. Not going to count my chickens for a BFP this cycle though. So typical that now I feel ready, things don't go to plan.

Hey Nannikin, I'm 1DPO today. Your doing an awesome job with the list!
Misssara that's disappointing about your DH being away but some good news is that 4, 3 and 2 days before ovulating is actually the best timing. The sperm needs time to "mature" before reaching the egg, and that take around 12 hours or so, so BD on the day of ovulation and the day after is helpful but not necessarily the best, so yep get in before he goes away and you should be all good!

Hi girls - sorry have been around and reading everyone's updates but too busy to actually post! Exciting so much happening - GL timing wise those of you who have o'd or are about to!
I'm in the 2ww but not sure how far in - been having some weird pinching feelings on one side which I usually only get around ov time but its milder than that. Not had that before but not reading into it either as I get something different happening each 2ww it seems

Hi everyone! Just joined this forum and hoping for a little advice...but firstly what does CD mean? I'm presuming it's referring to the day in your cycle you're in? This is our first month TTC...I have Endo and it's gotten out of control so have bought our plans forward a couple of years so that I can get a hysterectomy sooner...I am desperate to conceive asap as last month the pain was so bad I needed IV Fentanyl. Trouble is that sex is so painful too. Any advice from anyone who's been in this situation? Have bought two varieties of OPTs but my cycles are so irregular Im not seeming to have much luck with them. Going back to my specialist soon about the pain so will try get some ideas off them too but hoping someone here but have some advice to share. Thanks guys!
P.S my last op was 4 years ago but so far no Endo has gotten on my ovaries (may have since my last op, I've had three ops so far) and all ultrasounds I've had in the past showed my ovaries producing eggs normally so the Endo shouldn't interferre with conception hopefully (fingers crossed)

Hi everyone, another newbie here :) in the TTC boat for the first time, ovulation tomorrow :)
Mrs191783 - CD is calendar day. Have you downloaded any kind of period tracker app? This helps with your ovulation days as you enter when your period was etc. and tracks your predicted ovulation.
We came off the pill last month, says we're ovulating tomorrow and did some ovulation tests last couple of days and we got a faint line today, should definitely be stronger tomorrow :)

Aw, thanks Avidkeo Misssara that's a bugger! But hopefully you'll be able to get busy before and after he goes away, and you never know, you'll still be in with a chance. Tasmin I'll be crossing my fingers for you Welcome to Mrs191783 and Sharyn186790! That's no good about your endo Mrs19, I don't have much advice sorry, that sounds awful have you tried temping at the same time as OPKs to try to pinpoint ovulation? Yay for impending ovulation Sharyn good luck for your first month of TTC!

Hi everyone, welcome new ladies! Sadly I'm now on CD1 :( but it's probably actually for the best as most advise is to wait until after one normal period before trying again anyway. I'm drowning my sorrow with lots and lots of chocolate!!

Hi Everyone
I've been hanging out a bit in the TTC After Miscarriage forum, but it's very quiet so I thought I'd see how I felt about being in here. I have a son who is just about 3.5 and have been TTC for awhile now. Had miscarriages in May 2014, Nov 2014, and April 2015. I've been through the Fertility Associates pregnancy loss clinic and there's nothing wrong with me expect for being old! This is our first month trying after the most recent miscarriage as I wanted to get all the testing done first and also just wasn't ready. I'm ready now - yey!! I ovulated yesterday or today. Hoping to get a BFP (that sticks) with some of you ladies.
