Oh Laurz and Rin, I totally feel for you both. being in that limbo land is so annoying. I am hoping that you both OVd later than you though and your BFPs are coming soon! Hope you get some answers from the blood tests Rin. Man that first day of AF is always so rough, then somehow manage to pick myself up again to get motivated for the next cycle. I have decided this time I am going to temp after about CD7, then until a couple of days after OV only this time. My stupid temps were way higher than norm, and only dropped on the day of AF, gave me and hubby so much false hope. I am also not going to test until at least CD13 this time. Also going to use OPKs and try to get our timing better. With my dd I reckon we BD'd on OV day with a couple of days rest beforehand maybe starting to early with our BDing this time. Hubby said he was reading ideally 2-3 days recovery time, but as we normally start BDing daily around CD10. So think this time I will use OPKs, BD every 3rd day from end of AF, then daily from +ive OPK instead. I so know what you mean about taking the fun out of it a bit Laurz by planning so much. We try to be spontaneous at other times during our cycle to take the pressure off a bit!!!

My temp went down to 36.45 from 36.75 this morning, so I'm fully expecting AF to show up today - but nothing yet. I'm actually kinda relieved that my temp has gone down and it looks like I'll be back to the start again. Things just didn't feel right, with not getting a clear positive test. Still pleased I went to get a blood test though, so it might be a bit more clear what actually happened. I totally get what you mean about having a renewed sense of motivation at the start of the cycle again Kamile. I've been thinking this morning about how we can up our efforts this month - I've got an acupuncture appointment next week, and thinking about getting in to see the naturopath this week too. Reckon we'll aim for BD every 3rd day as well, and then every day from +ve OPK to temp going up, and see how we go. My goodness, it's all such a lottery isn't it!?!

Did you get ur blood test results yet Rin? CD 1 for me which I'm happy about because I knew I wasn't pregnant so I just wanted to get ready for the next month, temp dropped this morning so I lost all hope at that point. I feel very focused this month...2 of my babies are May babies and I'd be more than happy with one more :)

Still no AF.. situation normal with PCOS though Sometimes cycles are 40 days and I'm CD37 now so I can't test again until after thathe as I tested at what fertility friend said was 12dpo and was negative. Then fertility friend moved my ov day after that anyway! Good luck to all those starting a new cycle! May you have a renewed sense of vigour! 😉

Hi ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining here - I've been on the Huggies forums but they have died off a little bit, very slow and not many ladies left waiting for that elusive BFP I'm currently TTC number 2, this is our 6th cycle actively trying. I have PCOS so pinning down my ovulation is hard, we haven't tried OVTs yet as my doc said they are not that reliable with PCOS. So ... I'm currently on CD 46! Fertility app said I should have O'd around 26th June and AF was due around 8th July. No sign of AF yet though - I had light brown/pink spotting on CD30-32, thought it was AF showing up a day or two late but it was only light streaks when I wiped and it didn't last long. Took a test on CD34 and CD36 - both BFNs and haven't taken a test since then Have a few symptoms - CP is fluctuating, sometimes high and soft and other times slightly lower but still soft Lots of creamy CM (sorry for the TMI) sometimes makes me think AF has arrived but when I go to the bathroom there's no AF Boobs aren't sore but are feeling heavier and nipples are more senseitive/tingly Flipping between exhaustion and insomnia - some nights I fall asleep at 8pm and other nights I can't sleep untl 2am Not sure if I'm wishing these symptoms or not, don't want to face another BFN

CD1 for me today, and I'm strangely relieved! I had the familiar crampy feeling as soon as I woke up this morning and temp was stil down around the 36.4 mark. It's still a mystery as to why I had a 32 day cycle out of the blue, when I've been 27 days like clockwork every since AF returned in December after DS's birth in August. I'm still waiting for hCG blood test results from Sat - because I self-referred, they are coming in the mail and didn't arrive today. Anyway, I'm all set for the month ahead - trying to stay positive and have lined up a naturopath appointment and an acupuncture appointment for next week. How you going AJBird? Any sign of AF or is she still staying away? Welcome LillyPilly! Here's hoping you aren't just wishing the symptoms you're having and you have some good luck. When are you planning to test next? How is everyone else doing? Hope every is having a good week

Hi Lilly and welcome :) Hopefully you get ur BFP or AF soon the waiting is so hard. I'm finally CD 2 after being 5 days late and it was torture I was actually glad to see AF in the end. Have you contacted ur GP for bloods to find out what's going on?
I have just got off the phone to FA and booked in for early September, according to the nurse I don't qualify because I already have 2 children at home so we are going private. Very excited to be doing something about it and not just waiting because surely there must be something wrong as we have been trying for 18 months I just want to find out what it is and fix it...if it's possible.

Thanks for the warm welcome Trying to get up the nerve to test today - so nervous! Laurz - I'm at that stage now, if I'm not pregnant then I just want AF to arrive so we can start again. My GP won't do bloods unless I miss AF 2 months in a row because my PCOS means my cycles go screwy sometimes, I never minded until we started TTC - now it drives me nuts! We have to wait another 6 months before we qualify for FA help, going private is so expensive! Hoping you get some good news from them though - doing everything right each month and still getting BFNs is so frustrating

Hi Lilly. I too have PCOS. My doctor put me on Metformin to try regulate things. So far I'm not sure if it's working because I am CD38 today. I took a test on CD30 and it was negative. And like you my cycles are all over the show. The doctor basically said we just have to BD All. The. Time. Haha easier said than done with busy work schedules!

Welcome LillyPilly! I hope your time here is short :-) this will be my 5th month trying, took us 6 months last time!! that must be so frustrating for you having such long cycles sometimes. I really hope you get a bfp or af soon. I will add you to the list when I update it tomorrow.
Sorry for AF Laurz and Rin, I do find that AF is less disappointing than a bfn, hence why I am going to try and hold off testing this month.
How is everyone else getting on? Any testers coming up?

AJBird - I know what you mean! I have a 6 year old and my partner has a 3 year old so between work and the kids trying to find the time and energy to BD every second day is tough. I think I might talk to my GP if this cycle doesn't have a happy ending, it would be so much easier and less stressful if I was regular.
Thanks Kamile, I'm hoping for the BFP too - justhave to get up the nerve to test again!

Congratulations AJBird! That's wicked! And all the more exciting coz you weren't expecting it I remember the feeling of absolute shock I had when I got my BFP with DS (I was at the point of convincing myself that it was never gonna happen for us!) and it takes a while to get your head around it...sorta like 'How did we....?'. Enjoy it, it's an amazing feeling!!
