Cheers mushroom - I knew someone would know more than me. We didn't go through all that due to knowing our issue when we started with FA.

I had heard through my friend recently about the having to have been trying for 5 years to get on the public list with unexplained infertility. I'm screwed, cause I'm 40 in February. I'm hoping my low AMH score may get me through. Will find out when I see FA in May.

Sorry Cridic - I'm not sure what the scoring is for your age group (since it didn't apply to me). I know you get points for female fertility issues, male fertility issues, and how many years you've been trying. Also need to be a non-smoker and have a BMI less than 32, and under 40 at referral meeting (pretty sure you can be over 40 by the time you reach the top of waiting list). At least you're seeing the specialist next month, so they will be able to let you know for certain.

Good luck for Monday Auntie! Hope your HGC keeps rising nicely!!

Wow- thanks girls for all the information! You are such a wealth of knowledge :-) Pitterpatter, thanks for that document - it was super helpful! How are you getting on????

Cridic, I hope you don't have to wait very long and get on the list quickly. How long have you been trying for? Have you done any testing about your mc's yet? I started testing after 2 - my gp was happy to begin the process then.

Shimmer - that's awesome that they could get you in so quickly for the next round of IVF. I so hope this one works for you!!!

Auntie, that's great that your HCG rose!!! Long may it continue!

BC - I hope you can find something to treat yourself with this weekend - you surely deserve it.

Thanks everyone. Had a conversation last night with my husband who wanted to know when I was technically pregnant. Told him technically now and he was so surprised, bless him. Then he said "but when do we stop worrying?"
I said if I miscarry. Or if I stay pregnant then actually, never

I swear he gulped, like in a cartoon.

Yup. He keeps referring to me as "the incubator" and has that I-just-impregnated-my-wife swagger that blokes get. I told he's stillallowed to swagger even tho it was the nice doctor who got me pregnant and he has few (or as he calls them, "unique") sperm.
Fortunately we both have a sick sense of humour.

Lol in our house auntie that kind of humour is normal. Totally sounds like what mine would say. It's great you can have a laugh together despite trying circumstances.
