You poor thing babycrazy, I hate getting thrush. I use to get it a lot and have had a few uti's recently to. I have started taking cranberry capsules daily. Two a day during times of stress and one every day otherwise. So far so good fx

Delphie frustrating as heck huh but I'm glad you can see the bright side of it all. Trust me I can't think of anything worse than getting utd soon after egg collection. There's also some thoughts that it can be better to wait and give the body time to recover.
Kazper - yeah it sucks. Not sure if it's thrush or a bit of a reaction to the wax I got the other day. Have been treating with tea tree oil today which seems to be helping and will be hitting yoghurt tomorrow. If it doesn't settle I'll have to look at going to the chemist.
How's everyone else doing?

Hi ladies
Quick update from me. Just had another scan and poppy was measuring a few days ahead at 9w4d with a heart rate of 182. So I think I'm going to be brave and go join a proper due-in June group and become a lurker in here.
I hope to see some of you on the other side soon! All the best!

Hi Everyone! So good to have your good news in here NZVeg. May it be the start of lots more good news to cascade in here in the new few weeks. Sorry I haven't commented on the goings on in here, but I wanted to pop in and say hello... and that I'm still lurking around. We're still not really TTC right now - my body is still out of whack from mc #4 and I'm finding it hard to join in the TTC banter. But I wanted to let you girls know I still check in on you all and am anticipating some nice BFPs really soon!!! So even if I'm not commenting, you're all still in my thoughts. x

Sorry to hear about your BFN Charlie, what a blow :-( How are you doing hon? Best wishes with this cycle BC, thrush is horrible. Hopefully Mushrooms advice will help heaps.
I'm off to the specialist for an urgent scan tomorrow morning. I suspect my ov has created a massive cyst on my left hand side and the weight of the thing is creating some ovarian torsion. Man, it sucks. Can't move without near screaming. Heat bag and panadol is all I can have just in case there is also implantation. They said if it gets unbearable go to ER but the long-term members of this forum will remember that those two days did little to nothing to address the torsion and cysts. All I found out was the on call ultra sound lady was obviously a sadist in her spare time and that CT scans make you feel like you have wet your pants. After a couple of days dosed up on Codine, I booked myself out and went home to celebrate my two year old's son's birthday which the visit had forced me to miss :-(.
Will keep ya posted. I was so hoping for a clear run once I had all the procedures durning the op too. Bah!
Universe please create me this situation... the CL cyst is harmless and only big because it is providing so many hormones to the young embyo's digging in and getting comfy. May the pain suddenly disappear and may this be a happy, healthy, and safe pregnancy and birth. May the cyst be pain free and disappear on its own accord as the pregnancy progresses Amen :-)

TTC our 3rd child 5+ yrs. Self-funding. Over 55 medicated cycles. 3 m/c's iuis, ivf with ICSI fresh BFN, 1 FET BFN. PCOS horrible. Endo and adhesions from c-sects resected. DH few wrigglers. FAITH!

Ugh ht that sounds horrible!!! Get well soon.
So finally got around to investigating the side effects of progynova which is what I'm taking at the moment - less common yeast infection; more common - itching of the lady parts and cm. I'm not sure which of those it is but I'm going to ring the clinic and ask their advice. Think it's probably the latter and I'm quite relieved it's due to meds.

I went to bed in a bad mood and woken in a bad mood. Was feeling very sorry for myself about our fertility journey yesterday and having next to no sleep last night hasn't helped. I have had a bad back for a while now and haven't been able to sleep properly for years. I can't sleep on my back or front without waking in agony and even on my side I have to have a pillow between my legs and rolled up in fetal position and then turn after an hour or so when the pain starts to get me there to.

Hi Kazper Have you invested in a pregnancy pillow (the body length ones), they do wonders for sore bits and bobs including backs. I hope you can catch up on sleep, I feel lacking in that department today too.
BC, I had a major dose of itching lady parts after my op. It drove me to distraction! Because I itched, I then inflamed, and then scratched and made the skin raw. This meant every time I took a whizz it was owwwee. I went and got some broad spectrum anti-fungal Canasten cream and used that like a barrier cream for around 10 days. It helped to stop the chafing and the need to itch constantly. I forgot about the cranberry juice, that would have neutralise the acid in the pee. Good luck finding a solution :-)
The lovely Dr Sunil saw me very early this morning and gave me a scan. He said we have definitely ovulated and the pain is because of the blood associated with it. The pain should start to ease :-) He has put back my p7 otherwise known as p21 test. He says he is hopeful for us :-). Pain has definitely leveled back this morning and now is an achey pinching sort of pain without as many waves of OMFG when I move. Wahoo! All hope is not lost.

That is fantastic news heavenly.talker. What a relief. Fingers and toes crossed for you love. What a great idea about pillow. I will look in to it. I can't handle much more painful and sleepless nights. I have been getting up around 6 every morning lately because I can't handle laying down any longer

NZVeggie I'm so happy for you  heavenly.talker that sounds really rough, I hope you feel better soon I had my egg collection yesterday morning, and as hoped I was too out of it to really remember it, the drugs worked quite nicely. And I'm not in much pain today so I consider myself really lucky Of 9 eggs collected 3 were immature, and only 3 fertilised, which I'm quite disappointed by as I'd hoped it would be 5-6. I'm worried that when they thaw them none of them will grow on to be good enough to transfer. I have to wait for mid-January for that to happen so I'm going to try not to think about TTC until then but it'll be hard

Oh bummer Delphie I know how you feel. They're freezing on day 5? Be prepared for those three to dwindle right down hun. Of my 4 that fertilised only 1 made it to freeze this last time and that's the one we're about to use. I hope it's not the case though and they all make it!
Ht I'm glad you got some answers, hope you're starting to improve.
Kazper stink about your back! We need a new bed which means a lot of waking up feeling a bit rough, I can sympathise whole heartedly.
Well would you believe today I'm feeling a lot better (the itch has gone) but rang clinic who said get some cream and treat it anyway as the antibiotics might give me the run round too (which they do normally). Would rather err on safe side get it treated then I'm good to go for transfer. If I treat now then start antibiotics do you think it'll flare up again? Just going to get some cream rather than the pills so I should be covered it if does.
Bring on next Wednesday!! Rather over pills and I've still got messaries to start yet. Blurk lol fun times!

HT, that's great that the pain wasn't anything major - still not much fun to deal with, I'm sure.
BC, it's good that things have calmed down a bit. I think you're best to get on top of it now and deal with it again if the antibiotics cause another flair up. There are some safe creams to use if your UTD, so just ask the doc/pharmacist.
Delphie, try not to be too disappointed... remember that it only takes one! I know how hard it is not to think about TTC when you know there really isn't anything you can be doing! I've tried to avoid the forums a bit, but then I'm curious to see how you all are getting on and get right back into it. Oh well!

Thanks Agirl. Picked up a 6 day cm cream so that should last me lol. Just about nailed it naturally but could risk it affecting transfer. Can just imagine it'll plague me if I get utd esp if I don't get on top if it now.
I know what you mean about taking a break from forums. I've tried but I can't help myself because I feel like I'm abandoning friends a little bit, especially when everyone's so supportive. Then I think I'll slip away when it's quiet but someone new will jump in then I hate the thought of th possibly not getting the support they need! Lol ima sucker huh.

Lol HT I always think 'once such and such have graduated then I'll quit' but nope I just keep on keeping on. All good though I enjoy giving and getting support. If I've got to go through this crap the least I can do is share my experience with others. I'm 'this' close to outing myself on Facebook but then I sometimes check myself as to what purpose it will serve in my circle of friends (and 'friends') other than direct sympathy which wouldn't be the purpose. And I'm conscious of making others feel bad by my misfortune so I shush.
Anyway that was a bit of a tangent lol! Been at a long, heated committee meeting of which I'm chair so have lots whirling in my mind.

babycrazy you could always take some probiotics to prevent it coming back. Or even use a probiotic yoghurt. I usually pick one if I take antibiotics and it stops me from getting thrush which I definitely would get without them.
I know you mean about the friends thing. Some times I wish I could just check out for a bit. Even just unplug the phone, shut the doors and just take the day to myself without having to talk to anyone.
