Thanks ladies! x

LOL BC I'm so thankful for your optimism! I'm still
holding tight to that horse snow for now hoping it'll continue it's luck!
I love that you "restrained" yourself haha what other symptoms did you have? I'm hoping they are because of the progesterone though!
I've had more dizziness this evening and earlier I was laying on the couch and had a sudden pain on my right side but not sure if it was even in my pelvic area lol and for better when I got up and moved around

I showed DH my test and he's cautiously super excited - and even be said "hey it's darker than all the other ones isn't it" hehe must be a good thing!

Hmmm soo symptoms (if I can jog my memory).... Runny tummy 36-48hrs after transfer (both times I was preg), thirsty as a mofo on waking, af cramps, boobs (but they didn't count til later as were sore from collection on), think there was a dizzy spell, 4 days post transfer it all seemed to stop for a couple days and I was sure it was over. Day of result (day after bloods which were a day early) slight yucky feeling which initially I out down to nerves. Of course easy to tell in hindsight but at the time all of it could've meant anything. And there was similarities between that cycle which I had prog support and my other bfp with nothing of the sort hence why I don't necessarily think prog completely can be blamed.
But that was just me 😉

Dh knows the right things to say doesn't he! I can hardly wait til Saturday - and dang it all I'm going to be flat out all day but I'll try hard to get on and see the result xx

Oh my goodness Storm, that's awesome, congratulations!!!! (But you are making it very hard to resist doing a test of my own.) I'm so glad DH knew what to say, bless him. I'm so so happy for you, stick little bean, and grow lots!!!

BC, you just explained exactly what I've been having, Thank you!!! Of course I'm around day 4 now so all my signs have gone so you've given me hope it might be ok.

I'm hanging in there, just. Our 9yo son had a half day at school today so that kept me distracted for the rest of the day. But sadly also my Grandad passed away today. He had dementia so for the last few months really hasn't been himself. So I'm sad that he's gone, but I'm pleased that he's at peace now. But of course I really feel for my Nanna. She lives in a different town but hopefully I'll go see her in the weekend.

We've got a sick chick at home that's got sore feet so that's kept me busy too. I don't know if it's selfish, superstitious or just plain old weird, but when I first saw she was barely walking I knew probably the best thing to do was to "put her out of her misery", but I couln't bear the thought, especially at the moment while I'm waiting to have my BT. Realistically I don't know how it would affect the outcome, but I thought if I had her put down it would spell certain doom for our embryo. Isn't it crazy what we think at times in this journey? So I brought her inside & I've been taking care of her. I've even made splints out of an icecream lid for her little feet. DH thinks it's a bit OTT, but she's doing well, even walking a bit each day and she's eating and drinking well.

Anyway, I think that pretty much sums up how I've been. Definitely riding the crazy train daily!! One more day at home by myself to go, I plan to keep myself busy with quilting tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be ok. I know it'll be easier over the weekend with my family around to keep me distracted.

Oh Moon I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. But sounds like he really is at peace and that's a good thing. I hope his spirit will help to bring on some great news for you on Monday!! It's daunting doing an HPT early, but also a bit of the mind, I just found myself wondering if my little embryo had continued after the transfer so found a bit of peace knowing that it had.

Roubaix thanks! It's so good to "see" you! I hope everything is going well with you?

BC all your symptoms sounds just like what I've been having since last Saturday - so I'm hoping like mad it's the same outcome. I even had what I'm pretty sure was a metallic taste in my mouth on Wed afternoon for just like a couple of minutes! So who knows....

But I POAS thing morning (and banging my head against a wall because of it) I don't know what I thought I was going to expect being 20 hours after my first one - but this morning's isn't as fancy looking as yesterdays. And now I'm full of worry! I'm convinced it's slighter lighter... but yet still darker than what I usually get at 14dpo.
I'm not doing anymore and leaving it up to the bloods tomorrow now!

Sorry for being the mad crazy person all the time on here lately!

Storm - not everyone has the darkest tests with fmu - if you test at a different time of day you can easily get a different result, so try not to compare them! Blood test tomorrow!

Quick sneaky post from me, good luck for everyone's testing over weekend. I'm currently sitting waiting for my scan and totally freaking which is so not me! DH was meant to come but hasn't been able to make it. Just praying it goes ok! Mad day at work, trying to sort stuff incase away, not helped by fact something important has come up at work and it's all hands on deck which means me out of office for two hours! Just ranting will be fine, hope everyone is having a great Friday!

Right scan done! In and out five mins flat. My fear of seeing no follies was not realised thank god! Apart from that no info as the guy didn't say a thing! An uneducated guess there were about 4-5 each side and width about 10-12mm height 12-15 but again that's just a guess!! Now the waiting for the call! One thing about IVF is that I think it prepares you for pregnancy as US. ivf'ers must be the most patient people in the world as we are always waiting! Waiting every month to see whether our magical bonk with DH hit the target, waiting for results on ovulation, poas tests prove positive, waiting for an array of blood test results to come back, waiting to find out if you qualify for public funding, waiting for specialist appt, waiting for us all to get sprinkled in baby dust!!! 9 months will seem like bugger all waiting time compared to that! If we were all girl guides we would if earned a gold badge in patience!!!

Ugh Kiwi - I hate when the scan people don't say anything!!! Yay that there's some follies growing.

Oh Storm - deep breaths. Never mind about today's test don't let it stress you - it's not good for the bebe snuggling in there hehe (no more testing!!!) I'm so cheering for a good outcome tomorrow. Are any of your symptoms similar to when you had DD?

Gosh Kiwi I can't believe the doc didn't say anything. Usually they call out to the nurse what the results are, for them to put on your file? Good that you saw some follies growing in there then!

Thanks Mushroom and BC! I'm trying so so hard not to compare them! But the past 4 1/2 years of comparing tests is knocking at my head! LOL I'm trying to be positive however and tell myself for a short time difference I shouldn't expect much else!
And BC I'm def not testing anymore haha And to be honest I can't remember what my symptoms with DD were, apart from not wanting a red wine haha I didn't get any nausea with her till about 6 weeks. I def don't recall having the dizziness or runny tummy stuff. Mind you - I am 7 years older now haha so maybe my older body is taking it differently
Sitting at my desk I think I still have a slight sick feeling, like a real watery mouth and slight light headiness.... which I'm totally welcoming haha

Thanks babycrazy and storm! Think they don't say anything here as it's just the radiologist, will be different when we get to the Christchurch. I agree with babycrazy, as hard as it is try not to compare with last time storm! Way easier said than done.

Storm - 7 years ago were you so in tune with your body that you'd notice an off tummy or dizzy spells? Sorry I can't remember the story behind the conception of your girl...
If I hadn't done IVF I wouldn't even had realised anything was going on and would've put it down to other factors.

BC - so true! No I was not at all in tune with it then like I am now - she was conceived the first month we tried go figure! But I think I would remember the dizzy spells and I totally remember not feeling anything with her till 6 weeks or so - was around the time I had some slight spotting. So who knows!

Garcat did you have another blood test today?
