I'm sorry you are in here ShannonMac, its such an awful thing to have to go through, esp having to give birth to our angels - definitely not the first birth i was expecting that's for sure!

I hope your wait isn't too long for your rainbow, it is important to try (somehow!) not to put too much stress and pressure on yourselves!   I've been getting acupuncture and reflexology to get my emotions back on an even path and not the nightmare rollercoaster i was on! Having a few hours of pamper/relax time each week has been great!

Its a real 'kick in the nuts' to get your AF each month isn't it! I got mine today so i've gone from horrendous PMS, where i was a hormonal mess again, to horrendous period pains now! Sigh, we should have nice big bumps not this

Hi all, unfortunately our latest BFP hasn't stuck - my beta just came back at 8 - it's dropped massively since Tuesday. So just waiting for CD1 to try again. The good thing is that this is the first ever try when we knew that we'd be able to definitely try again immediately - so that's a massive improvement on our usual situation.

ShannonMac - Are you based in Auckland - my naturopath is amazing and highly regarded in the fertility field - she specialises in pre-conception and also miscarriage and infertility. She runs the centre called Motherwell in Mt Eden... Not sure if you are into alternative stuff - but when you walk into the place and see the wall of babies and realise that nearly everyone of those mothers was aged over 35 and had fertility issues, well it makes it all seem possible.

Pepi im sorry it did not work with the first go this new round. But wish you sooo much luck for the next go and getting you and your partner a baby x

As for me. Had scan today. Measuring 3 days behind and 121bpm for heart. Was so glad to see heartbeating away even though its so tiny! 7mm long! Hope it wants to hang around the next 7 months!

I ended up taking my incomplete round of clomid lol hey 4 out of 5 tablets could be enough?? lol cant hurt anyway. been getting mean random stabby pains in my right ovary though so think somethings trying to grow in there! come on follies!!
Hubbys SA results werent great but im still feeling v positive, they are fixeable, and hey we still concieved DD and our angel with his swimmers so they cant be all bad! so going to ignore the results, try to get him has healthy as poss with vitamins and a bit of a lifestyle change, and hopefully we should still be able to get our baby without toooo much help Smile this wont beat me yet! Big smile off to dunedin next week to visit family (the ones who will go onnnn and onnnn about DD needing a sibling..sigh.. but have managed to end up staying with the only people down there who know our situation and understand so thats good at least ill have a bit of reprieve at their place. itll be good. and DD is super excited about the plane ride lol.

And I am back again :( Went for a scan yesterday morning, supposed to be 8 weeks. Only measured 6 weeks 4 days and no heartbeat (had thought we had seen one previously at 6 weeks, in a scan two weeks previously).

Not sure how I am feeling at the moment to be honest. I hadn't emotionally bonded as much this time and sadly I was right not to. I am upset but not as upset as last time, who knows it could hit me in a few days or after the d & c, which happened last time. Hadn't gotten the baby books out or bought anything just in case :(.

Going private this time as I think it will be easier mentally. Few errors last time and a bit of a wait, health insurance should cover most of it thankfully. Going via a specialist and he will also do all the tests to see if there are any genetic issues with my husband and I, what was wrong with the embryo etc, rather than waiting for it to happen a third time. Hoping its just bad luck, but at least we will get some answers this time.
