Oh sara im so sorry. Hugs hun and yes third times a charm! And thinking of storm too xx hope you are going ok.
Had my f+ appt yesterday, went really well! Turns out hubbys SA results arent bad at all, just seem that way because of the conditions of the test (they took almost 2 hrs to test it so of course there will be heaps of dead swimmers by then!) For me ive had my metformin dose increased, and trying letrozole instead of clomid to see what happens from my next cycle, or the one after that if af comes over christmas when they are shut as ill need a fully monitored cycle. Also qualify for public ivf already so on that list as of now which is a 9-12 mth wait...so it all works out good really, by the time I start letrozole itll be 7-10 mths before ivf so good timing to get lots of trying in and hopefully not need ivf. Feeling v positive and peaceful about everything whuch is a nice headspace to be in. Nice that its all really out of my hands and we know whats happening. Have also discussed with dh and well go as far as funded ivf then draw our line in the sand and move on. Gotta know theres an end point for me..actually comforting to know this journey wont be forever, whatever the outcome. But told hubby he better pray for twins as this is my last pregnancy lol.aint doing this again ever!

Sorry to hear sara :-( I hope that things go smoothly and quickly for you. And I hope you get some support from your gp or midwife during this time. X

Soda, good news about the apt! It's great to get some motion and be supported now. Good luck with everything!

Update - 12 weeks scan went perfectly! By my doctors dates I should have been 11w5d. Bub still measuring ahead at 12w2d!!! All the right bits were there and came back as low risk based on scan alone (I haven't got blood results yet)!

Hey! How's everyone getting on??? Forum has been quiet lately. Hopefully that means all of us are happily on our different journeys and gearing up for a lovely Christmas filled with family and love.

Nothing new here. Not ttc before we start ivf at the end of Jan. I'm still quite worried that my af is too light and my hormones are messed up. But trying to forget about it all and let the specialist deal with that next month.

It has been quiet in here. I assume that everyone is busy with their lives which is good!!!

I am ticking along. Tomorrow is a massive milestone.... the start of the second trimester for me!!!! Can't believe it..... its surreal.
Last week I am definitely starting to show. At the moment it still mostly looks like a fat gut but I can't suck it in anymore and its there when I'm lying down now too. People are starting to look sideways and get suspicious but noone is game to ask yet. Don't think it will be long before that cat is out of the bag!!! I am not actively telling people at work (it's a mssive gossipy workplace) but if people ask or guess then I'm no longer denying it either!

Hi everyone

A.girl I hope you have a lovely Christmas and New years and be rested for when you start your TTC journey again.

NZveggie that must be so exciting for you!

AFM AF is just arriving today :( Getting very much over this journey and may be calling it a day in the next few months. TTC seems to have taken over my life and it's just so horrible each month when I've failed again.

Sorry for the downer, I'm sure I'll be fine soon but I'm finding Christmas very tough.

Anyway, huge congratulations to everyone that is on their successful journey and good luck to everyone else that is continuing :)

Oh sarzy, sorry to hear :-( I think the worst part of af turning up or getting a bfn is that it's coupled with the pmt hormones and makes it all so much harder. So cruel. Maybe a wee break from it will help you sort things out in your head. It's really helped me a few times.

Nzveg... 2nd trimester! !!!! Wahoo! I'm so happy for you!

HUGS Sarzy! this time of year is so hard huh.. i should be spending Christmas with a newborn and my " complete"  family.. but im still waiting too... its hard work being all upbeat when everyone else is celebrating but you wont be getting what you really want for Christmas this year, and everything else seems so trivial and materialistic sometimes huh... Its ok, we get ya xxx hope you do feel the festive season though and get to spend time with family and friends, doing things that make you happy xxx
Veggie- YAAAAY for 2nd tri! now i DO hope you have a great Christmas spreading the good news xx

afm think at CD44 im FINALLY gearing up to ov today or tomorrow.. CD 44 though so not really thinking anything will come of it. but a miracle would be nice :) had the WORST ov pain the other day- like worse than when on clomid it was really uncomfy- and all day long too! so did an OPK even though im only sporadically temping and it was a positive so yay at least somethings happening. cant hurt to have a little hope though huh  and i feel my hormones going crazy as im getting that weird heart palpitation thing, flutters in my chest all the time which im sure is hormone based- ive heard it can be to do with the progesterone surge? got it heaps just before my BFP wth my last pregnancy so hopefully its a good sign my progesterone is doing what it should. but either way- seeing AF ill be happy this cycle- its been a long one!

Hey ladies!

Happy 2ndTrimester NZVeg

Its rough isn't it Sarzy & Soda, like Soda i should have a 7wk old this Christmas, or be preg and throwing up! I hope you have a nice relaxing Christmas and try not to feel to down Sarzy.
I was looking at your chart Soda, finally looking good!

I had quite the achievement on Saturday, i held 3 babies!! 2 were my 7mth old neices (first time i met them, as they live in Aus) and my bffs girl who was born 4 days before George was due!

I'm so sorry some of you are having a hard time. I definitely remember feeling similarly this time last year. I had just had my second miscarriage at the beginning of december and like you Sara I was surrounded by family with babies and pregnancies that were close to where I 'should have been'. I made it through but it wasn't easy.

I can definitely sympathise with you all. I hope you all manage to enjoy your holidays despite the TTC difficulties! Thinking of you all.

Thanks Soda, Sara and NzVeggie :)

I hope all of us manage to enjoy the holidays and spending time with family. I'm just going to be really happy when Christmas is over this year.

We're off to Hawkes Bay tomorrow so everyone have a great break whatever you are doing xxxx

Bring on 2015 and lots of BFP's for all of us.

Well done Sara for holding the bubbas! Smile
posted on ttc12+mths but will share here too as maybe someone can tell me whats going on with my body! so i THOUGHT id ovd..had all that ov pain etc as well as ever fertile sign you can get... pos OPK and all...today i thought id just do another opk, and its positive! ovaries are still tender though not acutely sore... and my fertile "signs" have gone. did an HPT just incase and negative. did some serious mouth-open sleeping last night lol so i think todays temp should be a fair bit higher than it is.. but sooo confused about the OPK thing!

Hi Ladies

Been looking at a forum to join as I usually just read forums for any helpful info but finding that I'm also needing to talk to others going through similar journeys ttc.
My story, well both DH and I are 33 yrs old and been ttc for 26months. I had mc back in May this year and a cp last month. We are due to have our first appointment with fertility clinic in Hamilton in January.

Must say after a very tough few weeks with the lead up to xmas and xmas day it's self I am now looking forward to the New Year. I have decided to do a detox cleanse before I start on my journey of clean eating. I have been read a lot of positive feedback of ladies getting pregnant by cutting out sugar. Has any one else done or doing this?
Well starting detox tomorrow, and have been mentally preparing myself (as I love food lol) and know I am going to find this life style change challenging but it will all be worth it just to get that bfp.
