Hi there,
I was just wondering if anyone here has been through IVF using PGD and if so, if there was success? If anyone is happy to share their experiences with me in private, I would appreciate it so much as am very nervous, so please pm me. It is so hard to find people in a similar situation to chat to!
Thanks!

Not yet. We plan to do it for our 4th and final child in 1-2 years. We are going to go to to Huntington Fertility Clinic in Orange County America because they have great stats there and do PGD on a regular basis with little wait time so it seems like the best place to go for us.

Are you still here Julian? I wanted to PM to help give you info on PGD but not if it is for the wrong reasons as I would hate to offend as you were not clear on the details.
We are not doing PGD for medical reasons as all our children are healthy and were conceived naturally. We wish to complete our family and to do that by choosing a longed for daughter to add to our much loved sons.
Feel free to PM me if this is the reason you are asking about PGD and I would be happy to help :)

I don't think we can do sex selection here in nz with pgd. You have to qualify to have it done for medical reasons according to my doc. But I see you are going through the states and of course their laws are different.

It is only legal in America in most States and in a couple of other countries, Cyprus and Thailand and maybe Mexico. Australia are actually reviewing the law right now so it could be available there soon too.

Hi Emu, I am new here but wondered if I could possibly get some information from you on the process? My Fiance and I are interested in PGD for our next child but finding it quite hard to find information on it all. Any help you can give we would be very grateful.

Here you go Jessica. I did 3 rounds of it for a genetic problem I have. No luck, unfortunately :-(
