We are looking at installing a ventilation system purely for reducing condensation. We are trying to find people that have used HRV, DVS or smart vent and whether any was better?? (our quotes for HRV and DVS are similar at around 4K and smart vent a lot less around 2K)
Again our main issue is condensation, the heating is good and now that we've pumped up our ceiling insulation the condensation is even worse (although really warm)
We got a sayr ventilation installed (did lot of quotes and they price matched and seemed the most knowledgeable. It has been great, we used to have lots of condensation (wiping down windows every day) and now none. Wish we had put it in sooner. Cost approx $3.5k for a 3 bed home. They are a smaller company then the big boys but much more customer focused I believe.
