I must apologize now for the TMI, but I really need some advice.

I am 30 weeks pregnant with my first child and I have terrible irritation down below. I have had it for a while but it seems to be getting worse. I have never had Thrush before so I don't know what that is like, but it seems to be more on the outside i.e. not in my va-jay-jay. I am getting more than usual discharge but not heaps and I don't have any burning when I pee so I don't think it is a bladder infection.

Since I became pregnant my genitals have become larger and more protruding so I wondered if they were rubbing against my underwear and that's why it is so irritated.

Is anyone else experiencing this - what do you think?

Thanks

I think it still could be thrush, or maybe heat rash? I think you should contact your midwife, she can prescribe thrush treatment. If it's the heat maybe you need to be wearing only cotton, not too tight knickers or even going commando under a long skirt? Or perhaps a soap or body wash you use is irritating you now your are pregnant? I've had thrush this pregnancy and also an itchy heat rash on my lower belly that comes and goes. Calendula cream helped the rash, but I'm not sure about using it in more 'intimate' regions...
