Hi ladies
Just reaching out for anyone that has experienced ectopics.
My story is in May 2015 I suffered a ruptured ectopic that nearly took my life after 6 weeks of uncertainty and misinformation. I had emergency surgery and lost 3L of blood. Was in hospital for 4 days and took 6 weeks to recover.
We were told to wait 3 months to try again and we did

Somehow we managed to conceive about a week after starting to try again. This time I was monitored by GP and then hospital. When I was supposed to be about 7 weeks once again we found out it was an ectopic in my remaining tube. We are currently trying to use methotrexate to dissolve pregnancy and save tube. It's a long process
I'm finding it all very emotionally draining

I hope no one has been through this but would love to hear from anyone who has

-------------
TTC #2 since July 2014. Have had 3 ectopics May 15, Oct 15 and Aug 16. IVF is the only option now as no tubes left
DD1 born Jan 14

Oh. I am sorry for you. I never had it. But don't lose hope.
