Possibly pregnancy?

Hi everyone, this is the first time I have posted anything :) I had blood tests done last week while in hospital to check for an ectopic pregnancy, they came back negative. Today though I am 3 days late which I NEVER am. Is it possible that they tested too early for the pregnancy to show up? I was due for my period 4 days later. I already have two children but this is nothing I have experienced before and I was fine with the negative result.. but not im too scared to test again in case its another negative. Maybe I should just wait a little longer? Perhaps I just implanted late? Man this is emotional stuff.

Blood tests for preganacy are very sensitive and much more reliable then pee on a stick test - which are very reliable, once you are a week or so pregnant.

Well it turns out I knew my body better than the doctors in the end! I had 2 positive tests today! I could feel it all happening and was is agony last week, I ended up in hospital having all sorts of tests etc and had to stay in for 2 days as the pain was so intense. I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis. I am 3 days late today and it just wasnt sitting right with me.. so I tested again and YEP im pregnant :) Must have still been swimming up stream when they tested me haha. So there ya go, 4 days before my period was due and a blood test still didnt pick it up. Pee on a stick did :)
