Christmas Family Photo Wreath

Christmas Family Photo Wreath

These cute little Christmas wreaths would make a great little tradition to keep and put on the walls each year.  Collect photos of the kids and family that were taken each year and watch as they grow each year.  They're easy to make and personalise the traditional Christmas wreath.  They could even be a great little pressie for grandparents as well.

 You will need:

Cardboard
print offs of family photos
ribbon (we chose green)
paint (we chose red paint)
Glue
scissors

How to make:

1. Begin by preparing the pieces.  Cut out 9 circles of cardboard to place the photos on.

2. Paint the circles red.

3. These circles will be attached to a round circular piece of card - or you can use a polystyrene wreath which you can get from a craft store.  Otherwise using a plate draft a circle on your piece of cardboard (Tip: put all 9 circular photo discs into a circle shape first so you can judge the size of the plate you need). Draw an inner circle about 15mm in from the outside circle and cut to make a wreath shape. Paint this also.

4. Using the small circular painted disc trace around your chosen photos and cut them out - leaving a small edge to frame the photo.

5. Glue photos onto the small circular painted discs

6. Tie ribbon to the wreath frame

7. Glue photos to the wreath frame and you're done!

You can personalise the decorating yourself by adding other ribbons, beads or stickers to make it as special as you like.

Enjoy and Merry Christmas.
