Spring fling

The light, pretty colours of a spring morning are reflected in the decor of this simple yet elegant little girl's room.

THE RESENE COLOUR PALETTE
We chose a palette that complemented the colours in the bedding. The morning sunrise sky was taken from the light pink tones in the room, a very usable, soft, colour that doesn't overpower the rest of the palette in the room. The other walls were painted in Resene White Linen, while the trims and skirting were painted in Resene Wan White. Complement paint finishes with children's designer wall decals available from Resene.
Use Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen for a hardwearing finish or Resene Zylone Sheen VOC Free for walls complemented by Resene Lustacryl semi-gloss waterborne enamel on trims and joinery. Consider using Resene Magnetic Magic as a basecoat on one wall so you can stick up wall art, posters, and photos later without damaging the paint finish.
