Introducing iRobot Braava 380 the Mopping Robot
With the combination of white tile floors, a well-used family kitchen, and a desire for cleanliness, I am constantly wishing I had the time to mop my floors on a daily basis. There’s nothing quite like a clean floor to lift the feel of the room and get rid of unseen germs and grime.
With this in mind, and the increase in robotic vacuum cleaners on the market, I sought out a solution to this problem and discovered the Braava mopping robot! The Braava has been out for a while and is manufactured by experts in the field of robotic cleaners. It’s easy to use and after the initial outlay of the purchase price, the cost of use is low. All you need to do is power it up, fill it up with water, secure the washable cleaning pad and let it do its thing!
It mops for up to 150 minutes at a time, which is plenty of time for my tiled area to get a thorough clean. It works on most hard surfaces including wooden and linoleum floors.
How I found it:
The Braava certainly performed the task that I wanted it for, which were clean floors on a daily basis. It was easy to use and I could have it operating while the kids were at school and I was working so nothing got in its way. I did find that I still needed to do a weekly clean to get some of the hard to tackle, sticky and stained marks off that are common in the kitchen area. Overall it was a relief not to have to look at my dirty floors everyday and have the same guilty feelings about needing to clean them more.
It’s a great addition to the home for those busy neat freaks that want a clean fresh home and are happy to pay for it. Not to mention its especially great if you’re a little bit squeamish about cleaning the grimy bathroom floor.
