Iconic children’s clothing and sleepwear brand Merino Kids has launched a ‘store within a store’ concept at ecostore, Freeman’s Bay, Auckland.
Merino Kids Australasia Managing Director, Paula Petrie said the values of their brand align closely with those of ecostore – both priding themselves on the use of natural, healthy and sustainable products.
Merino Kids founder Amie Nilsson started the brand in 2003, and built it up from a small company based in Herne Bay to an internationally recognised brand sold in 35 countries across the globe. It’s worn by A-list celebrity children - tennis superstar Roger Federer’s twins, Angelina Jolie’s brood, and the kids of Rod and Penelope Stewart, Dannie Minogue, Bryan Adams and Robbie Williams, plus royalty - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Princess Victoria of Sweden all wear or sleep in Merino Kids products.
Merino Kids has won a number of international awards for its innovative designs such as the Go Go Bags™, and gained recognition for its 'hip healthy' products from the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
