Yes my friend also had the same thing happen to her - first concert was when she was due and now she can go but no tickets.

 whew after all those pics I just have to post one of my hot hubby who incidently is a toyboy. It will be one of our wedding pics as he avoids the camera alot.

our wedding cake (yes the roses were all handmade)

we spent approx $9,000 on ours but we had a lot of friends/family do things in lieu of wedding presents (the cake was one of them although I baked the bottom tier myself-fruit)

ahhhh...weddings. If only I had someone to marry lol. Decided a few years ago when I was still with my "soul mate" (dont ask long story haha) that was going to have a casual wedding with a big bbq style meal as we both fairly laid back about that sort of thing. Even thou we broke up I still like that idea. Mainly cos I helped my best friend with her wedding and she had pretty much the works. Man was that stressful!!!

i think i have said before but ours is prob going to cost about $8,000 - that's just rough costings based on where we want to have the wedding and reception, but includes photography food dresses etc as well - will prob end up being wayyyy more. by the time we save for it my girls will be far too old for the dresses i want for them

I am planning our wedding at the mo and is already @ $5500! Thats just photography and the catering. But the hall is $100 FOR THE WHOLE WEEKEND!! but my mum and dad are paying for most of it - i just have to pay 4 1/2 the bridesmaids and my accesories (tiara etc)

We had a chocolate mud cake in the shape of two interlocked hearts, and it was green (cause we wanted green) with rose petals all over it (last minute addition that looked really great). Lolly Cake Recipe

125g Butter
˝ cup of condensed Milk
180g packet of fruit puffs
250g packet of malt biscuits – crushed
Coconut

Melt butter in medium saucepan,
Stir in condensed milk
Remove from heat to cool slighty
Stir in fruit puffs and malt biscuits

Turn out and shape into a roll.
Roll in coconut

Refrigerate for 4 hours until firm

I didn't like our cake, we only spent $100 on it although I must admit it was very low on my list of priorites for the wedding.

Thanks for lovely comments... We got married at Akitio Beach which is about an hours drive east of Dannevirke. Actually got married on the beach - was awesome.

Liz, not sure when going over to Palmy next. Should have another catchup before you leave...
