thats so good they got it in time, my friend died from a blood clot 2 months ago (as ive mentioned previously) cept in her case the doctors put it down to stress of the new baby and sent her home...twice (sorry im still a bit shocked about the whole thing)

I got a txt from one of my best friends on Friday night to say she was so sorry for not letting me know what had happened to her (this friend is Lena's older sister). She told me that she was sitting in her hospital bed it was running through her head she had forgotten to tell someone what was going on.

On Tuesday night she went into Waikato hospital with a mirgrane and vomiting. Saw a dr and was checked out and then went home with some drugs. Wednesday she had the same mirgrane and it was getting worse so she made her sister take her back into the hospital. She saw the same dr who knew that something was up. He took her in straight away and he got her to have a head CT scan. They found 2 blood clots at the back of her brain in 2 different stems. She is so lucky to be alive. She is still in hospital and is on "rat poison" for the next 12 months and has to have regular checks to see whats going on in there.

This was quite scary for us as we had a friend drop dead with a clot in her brain about 10 years ago.
