Phew, thanks for that, our carseat is one of the cosco alpha omegas.. but the maufacture date is before those ones that are affected - only the ones for ours that were made between october and december 2005 are affected.. ours was done in the february earlier that year.

Car seat recall - Dorel Juvenile Group is issuing a Voluntary Safety Recall for Cosco, Eddie Bauer, Safety 1st and Alpha branded convertible car seats manufactured from November 2003 through December 2005. Internal evaluations have determined that there is a potential for the harness adjustment strap to loosen during use.
