I went and brought a new pushchair today, really dont want to use the old one again. this one she sits right in it but the bertini doesnt really have sides as such which made it easier for her to fall out. You'd all have to get in line behind me for worst mother award, remember I'm the one who's baby fell off the changetable, out of the rocker and out of the Bumbo, and that's just Mercedes, never mind the time Maya fell out of the jolly jumper or Sienna faceplanted out of the rocker...

And while we're at it Maya fell out of the pram almost exactly like you describe Addison doing Robyn, trying to be clever and climb in it, except instead of face planting she smacked the back of her head on the pavement.

Big hugs, hope you've taken everyone else's advice and medicated those nerves with alcohol/chocolate/illegal substances!

thanks ladies, its funny cos whenever something like this happens to someone else Im one of the first to say dont worry, it happens etc... but when its you its such a different story. I just keep picturing her hit the ground and feel sick.

My poor baby face planted the gravel this morning. we were walking through the forest (that will teach me for trying to exercise) and she was going to town, she hates the pushchair and wants to walk everywhere. She was strapped in but kept twisting around and ended up somehow toppling over the side and i just couldnt catch her quick enough. There was blood everywhere and she was screaming, of course we were in the middle of the forest and i had no cellphone reception, (although i dont know who i would have called anyway) but i basically had to run with her screaming while pushing the pushchair over the bumpy forest till we got to the car and i raced her to the doctors. She is fine though, just some wee cuts and grazes on the inside of her mouth and a fat lip and nose but is happy as now... Its just mum who is a mess.
