Oh, does she do MCN? That's another thing I've done a bit of, ordered random nappies for people and had them delivered direct from the supplier. Gift boxes are great, I've done a few myself recently and they seem to have been pretty well received And they don't have to cost the earth coz you can throw little bits and pieces in.
I like Kez's idea about the video/CD message too. I looked into flowers first, as they would be quick and easy, but unfortunately its just too expensive for me.
A box of little things is a great plan! I never thought of magazines but I would love getting those, and choc helps in every situation!

A good friend of mine has had just the worst run of luck.
So many things have happened to their family this year its unbelievable.
At the moment her son, same age as Benjy, is sick with german measles, they have been asked to move out of their house within 7 days and she has suspicious lumps in her breast.
I feel so badly for her, and wish I could provide some decent support for her but its hard as she lives in Queensland.
I want to send her something, but money is tight and I'm not sure what to send???
Something to let her know I am thinking of her, something to make her feel spoiled and special, something to cheer her up...
Suggestions please? What would you do? All ideas appreciated.
