caitlyn started teething at 3months and had a full set by 1 year.I found bonjela helped and a dummy or just something to suck on and pamol usually did the trick.
I found wrapping her and rocking and singing to her helped her off to sleep-and she still insists on me singing as part of her b/t routine(least someone likes my voice!)

Caitlyn also got her to fangs (canines) first and then her 2 lower molars before her front and it didnt cause any major probs for her

Just a couple of things ive learnt from work (im a dental assistant) in regards to babys teeth that u might find useful

Use a tooth brush for their age and make sure its soft colgate does them from 0-1,1-2 and so on
only put a tiny bit of toothpaste on the brush,too much flouride can cause stains on the teeth
Try not to let them go to sleep with a bottle cos that will stain their teeth too

Poor wee man!!

Jacob has days of being red cheeked and grouchy. I can see teeth (top front, bottom front) but no sign of erupting yet. Have ben giving him rusks to chew on when hes grouchy, he seems to like them. Been trying to save the panadol/bonjela till i know its definately teeth. Bailey has been teething since he was 7 weeks!!!!! I went to plunket today and she can see his.. botton eye teeth, the bottom front teeth and his 'vampire fangs'(sorry dont know what these ones are called!)and his top front teeth!!!!!!!!!

well em 2day khayles 5 months old and hes got a tooth!!hes had it for about 2 weeks now and wen it was cumin through it wasnt that bad.hes got bonjela paracetmaol and a teething ring..oh yeah and that baby teething powder and its workin(YAY 4 baby drugs)

Mum2Paris, why can't you use pamol with bonjela? I have been told by several doctors and pharmasists (sp?) that its fine. I alway check with a few different ppl before I do anything as I'm paranoid lol. During one particulary bad teething stage we used pamol, bonjela and weleda teething powder! its okay sometimes kids cross cut teeth. But you may find that the canines wont erupt just yet. They can come up and down for quite a while. If he was getting his molars and had none of his front teeth i may be a little worried as they have tendencies to drift forward and take the space of other teeth then you have crowding problems. Ok, I am bumping this topic because Joey started teething last week too, he is 15 weeks old. I don't have a problem with that the only thing that is weird is that both his canines down the bottom are coming through!! It's supposed to be the front bottom, then the front top etc. and the canines aren't supposed to come through for ages!! No sign of the other ones yet though. brianna got her first teeth about 4 and half months but never had any problems with them infact i didnt even no they were there till they had cum right up maybe you could try putting the teething ring in the fridge just so its cooler

I thought it was just products with asprin that you couldnt use with Bonjella and that pamol, panadol was fine as it isnt asprin based. I got some bonjella for me when my wisdom teeth were painful as they came through. 3 months for both of mine. Bonjella on the gums helps a bit. Maya had bumps in her gums around 16 weeks, and cut her first tooth just before 5 mths. She never had any probs with teething tho, and cut all her teeth early. Hi! you could try using weleda baby teething powder, i just get a bit on my finger and rub it on their sore gums.
