She has only been sick one time wearing them and that was on a very windy road. We went on a horrible ferry crossing with her wearing them and she was fine!]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=564">lizzle</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10734<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14 September 2007 at 10:05pm<br /><br />the mini gingernuts you get in the packet at the supermarket.  when we lived in gissy, we had to travel over the whareratas - guaranteed to make anyone sick.  anyway, when we gave the kids gingernuts - no vomitting.  maybe just luck, but hey, worth a go.<br /><br />We had lots of changes of clothing organised as well, and heaps of stops - although I'm sure you do thaht anyway.  <br /><br />not recommending this, but a friend always dosed her kids up on phenargen and they slept throughout the long trips.  not sure if thats the route you wanna take though.]]>

(I get really bad sea-sickness and we went out to the Great Barrier Reef in quite rough seas - and I was fine taking these tablets!) </P><P align=left>The other thing to try is accupressure bands - we used these for my brother when he was a little boy (he puked EVERY time we went anywhere in a car!!) <A href="http://www.ipharmacy.co.nz/The_Sea_Band__P752C3480.cfm" target="_blank">http://www.ipharmacy.co.nz/The_Sea_Band__P752C3480.cfm</A>&nbsp;are the ones that we used to use - am not sure how you could make them small enough for Benjy, but might be worth asking around a few chemists to see if they make childrens sized ones. (and soooo gross to clean up!)<br />The pharmacy doesn't have anything suitable for his age, does anyone know of any remedies other than starving him before the trip?<br />Is there anything else that will settle his tummy and prevent vomiting?<br /><br />]]>
