After 1yr the eating/growing can sometimes slow down a bit.

Our one has jellybeans on it. So handy!

Andy has started spitting food out. I give him one kind warning and then if he does it again I say "ok I'm going now then. Let me know when you want some more" and I leave. I usually go on the computer (close to highchair) and just ingnore him. When he's really he starts grumping a bit and then I go feed him and usually get quite a bit more in. Maybe you could try this? I know it's not the same thing but it may do the trick as Ben might be doing it just to get attention/ see your reaction??

As I would have taken food away if they continued laughing at it and taken them out.

But seeing he is a bad eater. How about putting a plastic sheet underneath. Easy to clean up if he mess. Let him eat. If he throws it on the floor. Just pick it up and put it on its tray. He will hopefully get bored by doing it and stop doing it. However if he thinks it is a fun game to see how many times mommy will pick it up then you are in trouble.

I honestly dont know what I will do. This one just cleans up herself so no worries here. Hopefully some other mom comes with a great plan.

How about just pick it up. And just say DONT do that again. And make a cross face. Dont say anything else. But you have to use a strict tone of voice. Usually works here for stuff.

He does it when hes had enough of one thing or doesn't want it.

If I put the food back on the tray ( yes very hygenic) he eats it sometimes or throws it back and has a mini fit. Tis happens with all food, whether he likes it or not

I have tried the "Thats naughty Ben we don't throw food on the floor" but thats fails and he laughs at my serious face ( god hes too cute...)

We only put one thing on the tray at a time so we don't get in a huge mess but I don't know how else to explain to him thats its wrong. The whole 'Do that again and theres no more food" doesnt work as he generally hates food and would happily starve to death..!!

Help
