Clothing is easy to post.  And books make awesome gifts for kids too.

they have these awesome w2ee books at the warehouse called "bright baby" we have one with baby animals, trucks and tractros, colours. My little boy LOVES them, and we sent one to our niece who has just turned one. she loved them too. Under $5 I think. I'm a big book fan for kids though. For the older girl, maybe a little recipe book? Kiya is 6.5yo. She likes reading, activity books (dot-to-dot, mazes, wordfinds, that sort of thing), My Little Pony, Polly Pocket, Barbie, beads and dress ups. Anything that seems grownup, while still being age appropriate (toy makeup, pretend cellphones, that sort of thing) she absolutely adores!

When she was 18mths old, she liked dolls and balls. I want to send a little present to my friend's two girls - one is almost seven and the other is 18 months. I want to stay in the $10 region for each of them (so $20 total). Also it has to be reasonably small, so it can be posted to Australia.
