My favourite nappy would be the Fuzzis, especially the new honeychild ones. They are so cute and really easy to put on. I also find them the best fitting out of the not so small range of nappies I have been collecting. With pocket nappies Suzi, yes you change the whole thing each time, regardless of the contents

We have fuzzibunz... my boys are not heavy wetters and I can get up to 4 hours from a single fuzzi insert. I have some 40% bamboo/60% cotton material (actually a set of towels, flannels and handtowel from Arbuckles!) that I fold and add to a fuzzi microfibre insert for night. Question: with the pocket nappies - you change the whole thing each time yes? Not just the insert? (of course im talking wee's n not poo's )

I got some pockets - which I tried to use as covers so I didnt have to change the whole thing every time ... which when he did poo's it was a very messy affair indeed

If you use the pockets propertly do you change the whole thing after every wee wee? or every couple of wee's? Just change the inserts?

My boy wee's alot!

Im abit confused

I do like the look of them though ..

I have not long gone the MCN way. I have a few different ones and my fav would have to be Happy Heiny's OSFA (one size fits all) it will last till Rhyley is out of nappies and this I feel (IMO) is the cheapest way to go as you are not changing to the next size up. They come with 2 inserts as well (one small one large). I got mine from snazzipants. They don't have as big of a colour range (they also do normal pockets with more of a colour range)
As for leaks - you have to change them more often I found than disposables and getting the right insert for the nappie is a good idea too. Its a trail thing cause what insert works for one child doesn't mean its gonna work for the other.

I personally love my tweedles and baby harmony nappies. But love the price of tweedles more. i love my pockets!!!    i have baby harmony and love them, have recently got a couple of tweedle ones but haven't tried them yet. peapods are also a great nappy and very cheap! you can check them out at baby factory $19.95   i love the hemp trifold inserts they come with!

i've used all in ones and they are easy to use but take alot longer to dry than pockets. haven't used fitteds but i've heard they are awesome for overnight. covers/prefolds are great too, cheap but can be fiddly to use especially on a wrigglebum.

have you checked out the snazzipants website for the comparison chart? it's a great place full of lots of info. the best way to learn about mcn though is too see them and talk to someone who uses them.

as teresa said, converting someone is the easy part! they are so much cuter than disposables and i can't wait for the warm weather to show off charli's cool naps

YAY!!!
I really like pocket nappies as my favourite system and am a big fan of the one size nappies (Bumgenius, Haute, Mommy's Touch). Tweedle are a good, reasonably priced nappy made my a WAHM. Baby Harmony are good as well. Both of these WAHM's offer a discounted price for a trial nappy which is a good way to find a nappy that fits/works for you. Honey child nappies do too and there's lots of good reviews on them (haven't tried myself).
We personally find velcro nappies easier to fit on Kaleb - much quicker as he wriggles around and we've never had any leaks in them.
The good thing about pockets is you can use pretty much anything as the absorbant part - when we first started using them I didn't have enough actual inserts for my big wee'er so used facecloths as well. Flat nappies and prefolds are a favourite for many mums...

I'm on the fence as far as favourite nappies go, there are so many around now and I can't keep up! LOL

But converting someone to MCN is easy:
They're cheaper (providing you don't over-buy like some people )
They're far, far, cuter
We're coming into summer and babies look so cute with t-shirt and coloured MCN!
You have two kids so you probably have to do washing every day (or nearly) anyway.

Is there anyone in your area that uses MCN? Pop around to their home, have a good look and Q&A, and just see how your DD takes to a pink one

I'm ready to become an addict.
Now that I am buying nappies for 2 kids I am so over it so am really keen to try some cloth nappies for my 4 month old boy but I really know nothing about them.

Please let me know what your fav nappies are when it comes to quick and easy and absorbency.
I am busy and lazy so I know I wont end up using them if they are fiddly to prepare and put on, just for Jeremy to leak right through as soon as my back is turned.
So ladies, I am sure you have answered this question heaps of times, but please do so again for me
