Well, we found some shock treatment that was left here by the old owner and got her to come round and show us what to do with it. She's absolutely mad and stood there in the rain scrubbing it to loosen everything up. It turned out quite fun in the end but we still need someone to come round and keep us going. You can dose it with a powerful dose of chemicals (shock treatment I think its called) that will clear up the water... we got people in to test the water etc and tell us which chemicals to add and when etc... so we didnt have to pay them to come all the time they showed us what to do...

where are you - if in auckland i can suggest a few places. we used to have a huge 60,000 litre salt pool we had converted from chlorine

If it has a computer running the pump for the levels of cholrine or salt then you need to have that checked...or we used to add salt at beginning of summer, turn up the puter and it went gorgeous and clear...

Our pool has gone green and we have no idea what to do with it. We only bought the house in July and it had been winterised so we didn't need to do anything. Does anyone know a pool man I can call?
