For both, you hold the baby while you stand up, with their back to your chest. (1) Hold baby around/over the chest/under the arms and put your other arms across his legs so that his body is straight. (2) Hold his thighs, one in each hand and rotate them in bicycle motion.<br /><br />Hope you find a way to settle him soon.]]>

In the end my diet was the thing tthat had to change - I cut out onion, broccoli, beans and cabbage and within a couple off days the improvement was huge.  if it continues and none of the above do it, might be worth a shot.]]>

He asked if we had any colic problems, and when we had a constipation problem he was able to give him an adjustment to help]]>

They may be able to 'fix' it with one treatment.<br /><br />Apparently babies/small children respond very well and don't need a lot of 'work' done on them to help things along.<br /><br />I had Amelia to a chiropractor when she was about 2 weeks old as she wouldn't BF well at all .. 2 days later she was right as rain.  And I've heard other, positive stories about osteopaths as well (we've since been for another prob she had)]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=17969">cuppatea</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 11584<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17 October 2007 at 1:13pm<br /><br />We used/use patting and rubbing back whilst sitting up, putting chest down across knees and patting (this would often stop screaming so he must have found it comforting) and last but not least laying him face up on my legs and pumping his legs up to his chest (this did cause him to spill up sometimes as well, but he is a very spilly baby). Now he is a bit older I normally put him on his tummy on his playmat on a towel and normally he will bring up anything that patting his back hasn't on his own now.<br />Oh and one last way, putting over your shoulder and patting/rubbing back. (be sure to put a towel or something over your shoulder first though) Sometimes walking around whilst getting his wind up seemed to help keep him a bit calmer.]]>
