But hairdressers themselves keep working when they are preg, and they are around chemicals all the time? I didn't cut or color my hair when I was preg, but thats a cultural thing not a physical/risk thing.<br /><br />Don't know about the spray tan, but when I think about everything Maya was exposed to like general anasthetic, xray, huge amounts of antibiotics and painkillers and she turned out fine, so what harm can a one-off spray tan be?]]>

How many people use moisturisers that have all the vitamins in them and when you look at the ingredients you are putting heaps of vitamin A etc all over you every day to be absorbed through the skin? i think it's about moderation really...&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;everything we use has chemicals etc in it, <br /><br /><br /><br />]]>

Im sure fake tan was fine but that might be a little differnt to the spray on.  I know in the what to expect while your expecting book it advises to not dye your hair during pregnancy.  I didnt when i was pregnant with Alyssa but i got foils when i was pregnant with Jayde.  my reasoning was that it didnt touch my scalp.<img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0"> ]]>
