I've only just started this but my ice cube trays are the new ones for Tupperware that have a silicon bottom so you just pop them out individually. I have got the medela bags and I am storing 60 ml lots. I found the ice cubes too fiddly fo me. I tell ya I could have easily given up but my god damn determined mindedness kept me focused on my goal!!

No one ever told me breastfeeding would be so hard to get started! Thats a great idea about freezing it into ice cube trays Emma then transferring into the bags! I would hate to waste the stuff, its like precious gold!!

Off to freeze it into ice cube trays right now! (Better tell the DH or he might have a slighly creamy rum and coke when he gets home from work tonight)!!

I also have those Avent pottle thingys which is what it is stored in in the fridge at the moment, but its way too much for her, she only takes around 70-80mls per feed at the moment!

hmm yeah I would freeze them in 100 and some in 50s in case your girl wants a bigger feed so you don't have to defrost and waste a lot. You could freeze them in ice cubes so you can defrost as much or as little as she needs?

50ml or 100ml lots would be perfect, you can also freeze it in icecube trays if you wanted to freeze it in smaller quantities then transfer the frozen cubes to a snaplock bag much the way you do with frozen baby food.
I used those Avent Via cups to freeze mine, as they stack in the freezer nicely, but they hold 200ml each which might be more than you need at this stage. Not sure where to post this, but what quantities should I freeze expressed milk in? I have so much sitting in my fridge from yesterday and I need to get it into the freeze asap!

I was thinking 50 or 100 ml lots, whats other opinions or recommendations??

I have little snaplock plastic bags that I am going to use to save space in the freezer.
