get them to contact CYFS who will take them via a course and put them on the list....yes i know CYFS have a bad name but they have an adoption dept that dealswith local and international adoptions where they will get preapproval...

Open home now is mainly permanent placement (kids removed via cyfs for the long term) and foster homes. A friend of mine put her baby up for adoption 11 years ago, and went thru her GP. She had an open adoption agreement and sees her son on a regular basis, he is the legal child of his parents though.

My parents went thru social welfare what cyfs now is to adopt my brother and me, they did it thru one of the nursing homes for single mothers. ie Bethany etc.

Suggestion would be to contact their GP and/or CYFS.

IVF ladies - look away


I know that will tempt most of them to keep looking.
