Two years ago yesterday I had my first specialist appointment.  We now have a crawler to show for it.  <br /><br />It's really worthwhile.  I found that they were so professional there that far from being nervous I was made to feel completely at ease.<br /><br />Good luck with it.]]>

I am with Fertility+ aswell and only had to wait about 5 or 6 weeks for my initial appointment, i have been with them now all year and have found them to be fine! My ultrasound was included in the initial appointment, and I think it was around $175.00 all up.  No more than that anyway.<br /><br />Considering the waiting list for IVF and other fertility treatments is growing exponentially all the time, it may be worth jumping the queue.<br /><br />And, of course, don't forget that in the scheme of things TTC 9-10 months isn't all that long so keep your chin up! <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley10.gif" border="0"> ]]>

Once you have satisfied the criteria you are eligble for public funding and go on the waiting list, it is free at that stage. <br /><br />It might be worth giving them a call to find out when your appt might be and hurry them up. <br /><br />Hope this helps.]]>

I was referred by my GP and but had a private appt as it only cost about $150, i thought it was worth it to get the ball rolling.
