Glad you are home and BTW I have tickets for the Santas Christmas Play on the 8th of December which as it turns out is the same day as the Special Childrens Xmas party I am going to get you tickets for.

Phew, yes we are all home now, thank you so much for thinking of us!

Both gremlins ended up with NG feeding tubes on Wed night as they weren't keeping enough fluid down, and they left the tubes in till yesterday. We were all discharged yesterday morning then just as we were getting ready to leave Mercedes did a massive explosion all thru her cot so they decided to do a sample of it to check for lactose intolerance and it came back positive. So she is back on the Neocate again It may be just a temporary thing but the doctors do suspect that the switch to normal formula a few months ago might have something to do with her poor growth.

So my poor gremlins spent their first ever night apart last night, they didn't fret too much, Willie said Sienna was too glad to see her own cot to care whether Mercedes was there, and Mercedes kept looking around for Sienna but settled pretty quickly.

Discharged this morning, poor Mercedes is down to 8.2kg

Huge thanks to Deborah and Fiona for visiting and to Fiona for keeping me in home cooked meals, and to everyone who sent me texts to stop me getting bored.

Gremlins apparently kept rollin on their tubes etc last nite but finally slept from 11 til 8am!!!

BUT at least the 9 20pm text said there were two sleeping gremlins!!!

As for Emma Im not so sure - even her message this morning sounds tired! ....and Im about to kick that Willies butt if he doesnt pull finger a bit more for her!!! Everyone is doing ok. The girls have stopped vomitting and the explosions out the other end are slowing down too. They may have NG tubes overnight but should be able to go home tomorrow. They were coping really well and are just cuddling lots. They look quite pale and very long and skinny but are chatting and laughing and being generally cute! Awww thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and text, and Ginger for the smile - we love you!

I've just popped home for a shower coz I'm in last night's PJ's and didn't take a toothbrush or any clothes with me coz I thought I was over reacting and we'd be home now.

Gremlins are doing OK, pretty miserable, Mercedes is sculling Pedialyte like an alcoholic and Sienna is refusing it but is taking a little formula. They have lost 600-700g each which they can ill-afford given they are at the bottom of the scale as it is but their dietician is speaking to the ward dietician to get everyone on the same page and hopefully we can find out why the little monkeys keep getting sick!

Bring on some sleep! They've promised me that tonight the night nurses will take the girls so I can get a decent rest which I totally need! We spent last night in ED, I was in a lazyboy on my own with two screaming gremlins for about 3 hours till I put my foot down and threatened to come home and leave the gremlins with them. Amazing how they suddenly found me a bed and someone to help me out!

I wonder if perhaps it IS a bit Gremliny ... Emma and the Gremlins spent the night in Starship and the girls are about to be admitted to a ward. Poor Emma...like she needed another sleepless night. I'm sure she'd appreciate all your thoughts & prayers & get well vibes. The nurses are going to look after the girls for a while so she can sleep.
