Our one has some kind of coating over it that looks like the inside of the oven so hopefully the oven cleaner will work on it. Oh, I hadn't even thought of the stainless steel trays - we have easy-off bam too so I'll give that a go on them.

I must be going through a little nesting period. I have arranged some of the baby's room (even cleaned the walls) and washed all the baby's clothes in the last few days. And I've been looking at those trays for months now and haven't bothered doing anything about them. Dishwasher powder, left on to soak apparently works well. I would try baking soda tho, seems to work miracles on anything!

Jif. You'll want to rinse well afterwards but it works. Or, if you prefer natural products, go for baking soda. I'm just wondering if anybody knows of a good way to clean baking trays that have baked on grease/oil stuck to them. I don't want to use a scourer on it in case it takes off some of the enamel or whatever the coating is and handwashing and the dishwasher just don't do anything.
