And it did involve cutting out things like coffee, sugar, booze and fatty meats ie salami. You can always say you are on the liver cleansing plan but be prepared - I found ppl asking me heaps of questions <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0"> <br /><br />ETA: A word of advice - don't call it 'diet' as some ppl take it as their right to try and tempt you. One of the ladies in the office already has peppermint tea anyway.<br /><br />For those who are interested, I got some details from a book on endo on what foods to have/avoid. It recommends this diet for 3 weeks and then slowly reintroducing them to see if symptoms are different or not:<br /><br />fibre: have wheatmeal bread, not wholegrain<br />cereals: have rice bubbles, cornflakes, white rice, pasta but NOT muesli, porridge, brown rice<br />veges: have them well cooked and avoid salads, corn, baked beans, peas<br />fruit: cooked or tinned; avoid raw, dried, seeds and juice<br />fats and oils: minimise fat/butter/oil; have low-fat milk/yoghurt/cheese<br />other: avoid or absolute minimum of sugar, nuts, seeds, alcohol, caffeine (coke/coffee/tea)<br /><br />After stressing about it for 24 hours I have decided to cut:<br />coffee<br />chocolate<br />porridge<br />watch the after-dinner snacks, especially sweet things]]>

One thing I will do is cut out caffeine, so that will mean telling my work colleagues. But how do I tell them? I'm on a diet doesn't exactly work cause I'm a size 12! I'm on a liver-cleansing diet, perhaps? I really don't wanna go into the fact that I have woman issues going on ROFL!]]>
